Chapter twelve

I woke up with a small smile, life feels good but sometimes it sucks. I honestly can't believe that I, a straight guy, likes Blade Mills! I'm no homophobe or anything, it's just that my whole life i've always liked girls, but now even though I still find the opposite sex attractive Blade is all I want. What does that mean? Am I bisexual or am I just Blade-sexual? Well, besides Blade I have absolutely no attraction to men. Oh Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, i'm Blade-sexual!"

I sighed, changing into a black Blessthefall shirt and white jeans with a grey beanie. I brushed my teeth and washed my face before walking down the hallway, grabbed my backpack, and walked out the door. The sun was shining brightly over me as I walked to the hell hole known as high school. 

"Maxx!"

I turned, seeing a small white haired bundle slam into me. I smiled, hugging him tightly.

"Hey Blade."

He smiled up at me, his adorable dimples showing. "I noticed you walking past so I thought i'd walk with you."

"Aw, you're so sweet. Of course I want you to walk with me."

We started walking together until I noticed him hide behind me, he gripped my shirt tightly. 

"What's wrong?"

I looked up and saw Dustin and his crew approaching us. 

"Well, looks like I found the emo albino freak."

Blade shook violently behind me. I growled. "Fuch off you cunt, you're too much of a bitch to fight him yourself so you bring your little posse to jump him, how pathetic."

"Oh Maxx, you know you're jelous that your girl chose me over you so you know, I'm just better than you."

I rolled my eyes. "You can keep her for all I care, just leave him alone."

"Aw, did you turn into a fag lover?"

I felt anger strike through me as Blade shrank away from me. I grabbed his hand. "Stay behind me."

He nodded. Dustin snickered. "You are a fag lover."

"Come say it to my face then."

He marched up to me, grabbing my collar. "You are a fag lover."

I punched him in the gut, he groaned and let me go as he doubled over. His crew attacked me, but I managed to kick their ass and protect Blade. 

"You okay?"

He nodded, looking up at me. My lip was busted and I have a few bruised ribs, but besides that I'm fine, I can't say that about Dustin's posse though. 

He sighed. "This is all my fault, you should've let-"

"Hell no! I would never let them hurt you, Blade. You're the best friend i've never had and I care about you more than I could ever admit."

He smiled. "Thanks dude, but I still feel bad. You got hurt and it's all my fault."

I shook my head smiling. "You're worth it."

He blushed, hiding his face. "Oh, o-okay."

I grabbed his hand. "Onward to our doom!"

Blade whined. "I no wanna go to my doom."

"But i'll be there."

"Blah, fine. You are my body guard now then."

I smiled. "Of course, tiny."
