Jeremy POV

The pack was furious with me because I had banished Sapphire. It was harsh but it had to be done for the pack, at least that's what I was telling myself. Ever since the accident her health has declined then peaked, I couldn't take the risk anymore. Rejecting her was hard enough, my heart broke as those words passed my lips. Yet a good Alpha never shows his feelings when pack matters are at hand.
" Alpha, fathers best friend is here again." Melosa my sister called from downstairs.
Looking out the window I did not hear Charlie's footsteps as he entered my office.
" You miss her don't you?" Charlie said mockingly.
" Of course I do, for Christ sake she was my best friend we did everything together." I was livid he was making me regret thinking about the packs greater being.
" Jeremy what you have done is for the best I asume, and I accept that I wish you would have been nicer towards her." Charlie had a point at least he knew that I was looking out for my pack.
" Charlie it was my fault that night when we where 16. She knew it was going to be a bad idea but I convinced her to come with us." Charlie nodded and then left his face was full of worry even though he tried to hide it. Augustus came in and bored me about how the Royal pack had taken over the rouge territory. I dismissed him as the Royal pack had a peace treaty with ours we where safe. " Brother , Brother?"
I heard Sicily my younger sister call, Sicily was tall for her age being 14 now.
" Sicily I'm in the office!" I called to her, instantly I heard her feet run up the stairs and into the office. Looking up from my paper work I was greeted with a warm smile.
" Can we go for a fun please !" She begged, I sighed and nodded after losing both our father and mother I've been all she has.
" Give me a couple more seconds I'm finalizing some last minute meeting notes."
She sighed and flopped onto the large grey sofa dramatically.
"You know rejecting and making Sapphire rouge was a real dick thing to do." Sicily casually stated, then glared at me.
" It had to be done , and I don't like that use of language in my office." She huffed and then like looked out the window.
" Can we go now I'm bored and whatcha gonna do about big bro." Getting of the chesterfield in a hurry and scurrying down stairs. I followed suit and went out to where the forest started. Both of us changed into our wolves and started run a play. This is when I didn't feel like a Alpha everyone looked to for advice, I felt like a older brother with his sister.
Sicily was smaller than my wolf but she made up for it in agility and speed. When we reached the clearing where the small lake was we rested.
" Jeremy I missed mum and dad." Sicily mind linked me.
" I do to muffin I do to." I walk over and nuzzled her with my snout.
" Come on we beat get heading back before dinner." She raced ahead creating some distance between us, but I soon managed to catch up matching her pace.
