Thud....

When you close your eyes, yet your not sleeping. Your thinking.

Some people can do this without knowing it. Just randomly thinking over their life, the ups the downs, the good and the bad.

Thud.

It's exactly what I was doing thinking back to when I was younger.

My mom was always happy an Earl was somewhat happy. But then she died. They had a lot of arguments. Sometimes to the point where mom would cry. When ever Earl saw this his anger turned into regret an shame so he'd leave for a day or two, to clear his head.

Thud.

I would sit there trying to find ways to stop mom from crying but my little efforts only helped her some of the time.

We never were the family that took pictures every year or whatever but I remember we did do a family portrait tho an two other's. I have no clue where they are. One of me an my mom. On of me an Earl. Then one of all three of us.

Thud.

I remember walking down the street to an old friends house. We'd sit an talk an play when ever the house got loud with yelling for her an for me.

Memory Lane is a fascinating place for me. Just like there are infinite stars in the Cosmo's, a person can have infinite memories.

Thud.

When you reflect it's not always a bad one that pops into your head. Usually ones that could help you now or in the future somehow. So while I lay here thinking of this past I noticed they don't make me sad anymore.

SLAM!

I heard a door slam meaning the bastards back. I got up an got prepared for the hell about to come in this room.

I opened my door to see...wait that's not.....
