Chapter Two: Interruption

          I groaned lightly as the ancient truck slowly dragged to a stop in front of Charlie's house. Everything looked exactly the same, and nothing had changed. Charlie started towards the house as I opened the door with a defying creak. I rolled my eyes. It may seem like I was prissy, but I just wasn't used to this, being forced to stay with my father , who I hadn't seen in years, and being taken away from my family was torture. Even if it was for just a few days.

          I stepped out the truck and grabbed the few bags I had. I followed my father into the house. As we walked through the house I noticed little has changed inside, just like the outside.  We stopped at the stairs that led up to the room "Well you know where everything is ,Scar. Make your self at home ,seeing as you'll be here a couple months." He said smiling at me. My eyes went wide. "What?!" I shouted. "I'm not staying here for months!"

          "Oh gosh, your mother didn't tell you did she?" He sighed lightly shaking his head. He seemed more disappointed then angry. "You'll be staying here with me and Bells for a couple months. You'll go to school with her and her boyfriend."

           I glared at him "What do you mean I'll be staying here months?! " I said nearly screaming at him. I couldn't stay here for months! I just couldn't! There was barely even a sun!

          "Hey it's not all that bad." He said trying to convince me of it. I huffed heavily and stomped up the stairs to the room. Once I got up to the room I didn't even bother to go in. I put my bags down next to me and slid down the side of the wall. I pulled my knees to my chest as I sat staring at the wall. I was to lazy to get up, and I was hungry, but I didn't feel like fixing me something to eat. Whenever Bella came from where ever she was I'd make her make me something.

        A couple minutes later I finally decided to get up off the ground. I picked up my bags lightly and grabbed the door knob, swinging the door open carelessly. What I saw in that room scarred me for life. Bella was sitting on the bed making out with some guy. I blushed darkly as they pulled apart and turned towards me. "Oh... u-uhm." I coughed awkwardly and set my bag down by the dresser, which was next to me. "I guess i'll just uh.....go" I said even more awkwardly. What a great impression that was.

         I quickly ran out the room slamming the door behind me. I heard a soft chuckle emitting from the cracks of the door. It wasn't a Bella chuckle. "Daaaaad!" I whined yelling down the stairs. I found him sitting in the living room just drinking his beer. " I'd rather be with you right now than up there." I shuddered lightly. "Not that being with you is a bad thing or anything!" I added seeing the hurt expression flash a cross his face. He instantly smiled. "Why don't you want to spend time with your sister and Edw... oh. I don't even want to know" He said already guessing most of it.

          " Yeah. Not a lovely sight." I said huffing lightly. He just shook his head. " Trust me Scar, I like it even less than you." he pointed out. I just nodded and plopped down on the old couch. It was the one he had when I was little here. I remember being here. I would always see my dad's friend here. He had a little boy. Well actually the boy would be my age about now. We would always go outside and make mudpies with Bella. What was his name? Jack? Jace? No that wasn't it.

          " Oh by the way , Billy and Jacob will be here soon. There coming over to see you return." He said as he looked at the clock on the wall. Ahh that was his name."When are they coming?" I questioned interested. "Oh you know, just about 10 minutes ago" he said nonchalantly. "They're always late"

          I went wide-eyed. He was actually coming. I did't know why but I felt happy about that. I hadn't seen him in forever, but I felt happy to see him.

          At the thought of that the door bell rang. I popped up off of the couch "I'll get it!"
