IT WAS JUST A DREAM

CHRISTABEL'S POV

It was a regular lunch break in the cafeteria with my friends and the guys at our spot, more like the Jock's spot though, with Carly and Daniella talking about the latest fashion they are oblivious to their environment
Elsa and Ray seating by my sides,with Ray sniffling and playing with my hair and occasionally trying to pull my attention from his twin sister and he keeps getting disappointed when he fails woefully,but not that woefully though since any time his does that I give him that smile that dazzles him everytime,and takes him hand into mine holding on it for a while,then when i am going to let go i massage lightly with my thumb,with a gentle squeeze I let him know I'm letting go,his hold remain firm but when I wiggle my hands a little and he hesitatingly let go of my hand,Darwin who is currently telling him something about the team, laughs at his clingy attitude towards me which I think is a sweet way of showing his affection.

Suddenly there was a change in my environment,i felt a negative energy around the cafeteria, I felt in danger but everyone seems to be unaware of the change and flow with it,i tried over coming the feeling but it came stronger i felt goosebumps creep to my skin like something bad is coming,like a nightmare is coming you know that feeling you get in the walking dead when the governor used a tanker to break the hideout of the good guys from the walkers, and the walkers starts coming in, just then a strange girl walks in red light radiates from her so l couldn't figure out her face but everyone in the cafeteria seems to be fascinated by her but I just couldn't I felt too uncomfortable with her presence like the negative force and the new change in the atmosphere was all her,

"Calm down baby" Ray whispered in my ears he must has sensed my discomfort

"Princey" and I looked at my friends "guys I don't like the feeling here let's go" I said as I pull on Ray and Elsa beside me

"Baby,hey,hey princess its OK" Ray hugs me,assuring me

"Ray,don't worry if Krystal ain't comfortable here then we will leave" Darwin says standing up, the table was quiet and everyone started standing up ready to follow Darwin
"Thanks Darwin"
I said with an almost laugh smile which he returned a gently understanding smile,

that's one of the many reasons I love Darwin,since childhood he has been so supportive and understanding,and he has this natural charisma that makes people listen to him and do as he says that was one of the reasons he was my first crush.

But as we were about to leave the girl moved closer

"Hi Darwin" she said holding Darwin's hands like her life depends on it,he gave her a smile like he has known her forever letting her hold him like that meant he was interested in her,but I couldn't stand the her presence because of the force that seems to follow her I known right away she was no good
"Get away from her" was what I wanted to scream but I kept my mouth shut cling unto Ray who was more than happy to hold me,like she sensed my discomfort she turned to me

"Hello Krystal" she said with a fake smile that seems like only I noticed.

"Hello" I said to her returning her fake smile,she turns to Ray and gave him a big grin while saying hello to him and eyeing him like candy,I held on tighter, "stop flirting with my boyfriend and stop smiling at her idoit can you see she is flirting with you?" I wanted to say but I wisely held my tongue

"Relax Tiger,I won't disappear anytime soon but if I do, there is no way I'm leaving you behind" Ray whispered in my ears making me relax a bit,

"Hey Carly, Elsa, Daniella love your new hairdo its supfab" she greeted to my friends and they responded their hi's with kind smiles

"Thanks lovely, I'm only following your footsteps there" Daniella said blushing

"What the?,what is this witch doing to my friends" I though it seems like I was an alien cause I felt so indifferent,uneasy with her around unlike them
