"Now that you are signing your contract is done and over. You're very lucky it was almost  up anyways. Now just sign here and here" she said pointing. I nodded signing then handing her back the papers. She gave me a small smile.

"Thank you" I said standing up and shaking her hand. I had a backpack full of some of Jais things that I would give to his lawyer today. I walked down the hall only to bump into Jai himself.

"I uh um here's some of your stuff well all of it" I said handing it to him. He nodded then I walked away. He didn't say anything and that hurt. It hurt a lot. I wanted to yell. To scream. Because it was my fault that we weren't together but I at least wanted him to say something.

But I knew it was time to move on. To start new. To be just me now. I was going to have to get used to some things but it was better off this way.as I was walking the sound of my footsteps were joined by another pair but running.

"Brianna wait!" Jai said catching up to me. I looked at him. He let out a breath before talking. I wanted to cry to fall and hope he would catch me.

"There's uh there's some stuff of yours.its at the house if you wanna come by to get them" he said. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out.

"Can you just have Luke or someone drop it off" I chocked out. He looked..... Hurt. Like he wanted me to come by and get my things.

"They they are busy just come by later today please" he said. I gave in nodding. I told him I would text him when I was coming. I decided that I would go at 6 when he said the boys had left so it would be easier.

I got out of my car going up to the door knocking. I was so used to just walking in now look at me knocking. The door opened to reveal Jai in just some joggers. He was shirtless and it was awkward for the first time in forever.

"Come in um it's up in my room" he said. I nodded following him up the stairs. I still had on the necklace he had given me on our first date. I just couldn't take it off. He opened his door and we walked in as I just kinda stood there.

"It's in that box and you can take a look around for anything else" he said. I nodded looking. I found one t-shirt of his I always used to wear. It smelled like me but I didn't want it so I left it there.

"I think I have all of it" I said looking in the box. As I was about to walk out of the room I stopped looking at him.

"Um Jai.... I know this is stupid but can we spend one more night together. We don't have to but it will help my closure" I said. He nodded taking the box from me and setting it on the chair.

He laid down and I laid on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and it felt nice. I could close my eyes and just think everything was normal but it wasn't. He spoke up while playing with my brown hair.

"What happened to us?" He asked me. I didn't look at him but I did answer.

"We grew up" I simple said. After that it was a blur. I fell asleep on his chest thinking of how we used to be.

Jais POV

As she laid on my chest I played with her hair. It felt normal but it wasn't. It was the last time I could hold her in my arms before another man was going to. I knew she would find someone who would treat her good hell maybe she would even marry him. So what I already had another girl but it wasn't the same.

I ended up falling asleep thinking about us.

Brianna Pov

It was light out. I would have to leave this spot leave him. And he wouldn't care. It would hurt him. But it would hurt like hell for me. I layer there for a while before sitting up carefully. I looked at him taking off the necklace putting it in his hand. I kissed his cheek getting up grabbing my box of things.

I walked out the door and out of his life. For his good but maybe not mine.
