This story is the novel I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2013, though I might not bother with it now, and write it at my pace without the feeling of needing to finish it in this month, which I don't think I would be able to, because I'm doing a lot of research in it.
This was not inspired by anything, I just thought up this idea and I liked it enough to start to write it. I hope you enjoy it, please comment, vote, add and share.
Summary:
At the age of ten, Jacqueline Bradley, lost her mother to cancer. After that she never played princess or watched Disney movies ever again. She stopped believing in dreams coming true or that true love exists or happily ever afters. From that moment she promised herself never to be a Princess.
Eight years later, she is heading off to College in London England for a year course in Journalism. And in doing so, fate begins to work its magic.
Excerpt:
It is common knowledge that every little girl wants to be a princess. They sit and watch all the Disney movies about the girl finding her prince. All of them believing that there was such a thing as true love. I was one of them. My family wasn't exactly rich, but we weren't poor either. At that time, being a six year old girl, I did not care. All I cared about was being a princess, like Ariel from the Little Mermaid or Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I was the only child in our family, and I was happy that way.
