You're my World - Lachlan

      I watched every step he took. One..two...three. He got further and further away from me. I wanted to stop him, but I couldn't do that to him. I had to act strong, although of course I was breaking inside. I mean, what would you do if everything you ever wanted was flying across the world, away from you, to pursue his dreams? I know I need him, I know I can't live without him, yet I let him go because deep down we both know it's what's best for him.
        It's funny how life works. In a way you love it, but also hate it just as much. It gives you good things, even great things, but cruelly rips them away from you as if you didn't have it in the first place. I stood at a big window, watching his flight skid off into the air, and letting silent tears slide down my face. I wanted to kick something, or scream. I wanted to lash out and make the world hurt. I wanted to do a lot of things, but I just stood there. It took about half an hour for Preston to tell me it's time to go. I thought about his exact words, "Come on... It's time to go home." Home? I'm sorry, I can't go home because home is on a plane to Australia right now.
      ~~~~~~~~ 6 months later~~~~~~~~
      These last few months have been quiet. I went home, continued making videos, and received comments wondering about my attitude change. It doesn't bother me though, I get the same ones everyday. I was working at my desk, editing through a video, when I got a call from Preston.
"Hey."
"You'll never guess what I did for you!"
"What now Preston?"
"I booked you a flight for Texas tomorrow and you better get your ass on that plane."
".....Oh my God, I don't know what to say."
"Well, I suggest you get packed because you're staying for a month."
"A month?!"
"Yep, see ya soon."
      Just like that he hung up. What the hell Preston? I jumped up, running around the room, grabbing everything I needed for the trip. A short while later, after security, I was in Texas. I searched the airport for Preston, who I spotted jumping around with his vlogging camera excitedly. "Preston!" I yelled, hugging him, and putting on a smile for the camera.
         We went back to his apartment and made our way to his door. He pulled out his camera again, smiling widely. "What's so interesting about your apartment that you need to vlog?" I snickered. "Oh trust me, it's not the apartment." He started recording and pushed open the door. I stepped in after him, nearly passing out at the sight. There he was, after all this time. Lachlan stood there with arms wide, smiling bigger than ever. I dropped my bags, running forward, and wrapping my arms around him like he was going to disappear. "I thought you would leave me forever." I whispered into his shoulder. He pulled back, and planted a sweet kiss on my lips. Mumbling he replied,"You're my world and I'm afraid that it's quite impossible to escape your orbit."
     "Awweeeee." Preston sniffled behind us. "That,*breath*, was so, *sniff*, adorable." He turned back to his camera, wiped his eyes, and said happily, "This...this is true love."
