Max then left Mr. Armm's bleeding body on the carpet of the classroom and dived through the window, shattering glass over a few students. He landed in a large oak tree by the school, and quickly climbed his way down, gripping the branches with the powerful fists of Harambe. The newly transformed weregorilla then sprinted at an extraordinary speed towards the woods. 'I could get used to this' Max thought to himself while escaping.

He dodged the complicated terrain of the woods with skill as he thundered through the forest. Occasionally he'd come across a suburb but he would just burst through the fence, the alarm systems and attack dogs completely unable to stop him. On the security cameras, he only showed up as a sudden pitch black blur.

After traveling about 20 miles in only about a dozen minutes, Max stopped to rest in a crater. He transformed to his original human form just by asking Harambe, and relaxed. The teen straightened his back against a log and closed his eyelids. He only had them closed for a few minutes before he heard the rustling of leaves.

His eyes popped open to see five other teenagers, all ranging from ages 15 to 18. He then stood, but then one of the teens stepped forward threateningly. The guy had an etched face, with seemingly years of experience hidden behind it. He wore a red plaid shirt over a white top and some torn jeans.

"Why are you here?" he inquired with a menacing stance

"My question would be why are YOU here? In the middle of the woods..." Max retorted.

"Funny you ask, we're werewolves. Thought you would've known that already, we heard you running through the timberland like it was nobody's business." he replied. "By the way, the name's Ryder. I'm the alpha."

"Well I'll have you know that I am no werewolf." the teen stated.

"Then what are you?" A female voice asked. It was the girl on the right side of the group. She had wispy blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Her clothes were in a similar state to Ryder, but she chose lighter colors.

Max declared it proudly. "I'm a weregorilla"

"I don't believe you. If you want to live, then show us." Ryder growled.

Max then began to think 'I'd like to transform, Harambe.'

'Your wish is granted' the gorilla's revered voice responded.

Max fell to the leafy floor of the forest and began to transform. It was less painful and faster this time. The other werewolves also transformed, as a safety precaution. When Max stood on his hairy, grey fists he saw the other wolves. Most of them were grey or brown. The alpha was a stark black wolf while the girl changed into an elegant white wolf.

"So it is true..." one of the wolves mentioned.

All of them, including Max, returned to their human forms within seconds.

"Just a quick question... would you like to join our pack?" Ryder asked

     "Well... I guess I c-could." Max stammered.

"Thunderstorm... come, follow us. We will show you the den and get you accustomed to your new life."

Max followed them deeper into the woods as the storm advanced.
