CHAPTER 2 Pain of the Past
After our class, nagpaalam agad ako sa tropa sabi ko may pupuntahan ako. Di na naman sila nagtanung ng kung anu ano pa nakita nila na nagmamadali na ko
Si marie naman sabi nya diretso na lang daw sya dun sa place na yun
Medyo malayo from school to our house. Tatlong sakay, buti na lang mabilis lang ang byahe
- Our house
"Ma andito na po ako"
"AnaK, di pala ako makakasama ngayon. Kailangan ko pa bumalik sa trabaho, ngayon na kasi yung presentation namen ng project proposal sa mga board members"
"Ayos lang ma, sasamahan naman daw ako ni marie eh"
"Ah sige anak buti naman, andyan na nga pala sa sala yung pinabili mong bouquet and candles"
"Thanks ma, sige po akyat muna ko papahinga po muna ako maya pa naman daw pong 5 ang simula"
"Oh sige anak, pag nagutom ka initin mo na lang yung lasagna sa microwave. Sige alis na ko anak"
Papunta na akong hagdanan
"Anak be strong, kailangan mo na tong harapin"
Tumango lang ako. Then my mother kissed me on my forehead and hugged me. Tapos nun umalis na sya. At ako naman dumiretso na sa room ko.
4 hours pa, humiga muna ko sa kama ko then I plugged the earphones on my ears and played some song
With that I closed my eyes and felt the silence around me
Music really help me a lot. It’s my medium to release all the pain that I felt.

I nodded in return for that, then nagsimula na syang maglakad palayo. Ang weird? Parang nahihirapan akong Makita syang papalayo. Isipin ko pa lang na mawawala sya sa tabi ko parang di ko na kakayanin.
A few minutes later
LESTER CALLING…..
L: babe punta ka dito sa may intersection.
C: oh sige give me 5 minutes babe
Hay naku ano naman kayang pakulo nito ni Lester haha basta ka-sweetan talaga nangunguna boyfy ko J
Malapit na ko sa intersection at natatanaw ko na si Lester sa kabilang side
Grabe ngayon pa lang gusto ko na maiyak sa pinaggagawa nya
Paano ba naman mula dito sa kinatatayuan kong side, nakita ko na yung hot air balloon na may banner sa baba at may sulat na ”HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY BABE CHESKA. I LOVE YOU
SO MUCH, FOREVER UP TO INFINITY” tapos dun sa may paligid sa may paligid ni Lester may napakagandang landscape ng white roses.
He was with his usual mesmerizing smile that captured my heart, wearing his white sweatshirt that really looks good on him, as he walks closer to pick me up on the other side of the park
My gosh! How I truly love this guy so badly
I smile in return, patawid na sya..
Then suddenly I just heard a loud 'screeeeccchh'
Something flash in front of my eyes, and before I knew it
Nakita ko na lang , his face is full of blood lying on the cold road , still staying my name using all the strength that he still have
I can’t move. I was left dumb founded
"Lesterrrrrrrr!!!!"
I shouted hanggang sa maubos na ang boses ko
"Lesterrrrr"

I woke up and indeed it was another scene from the past
Pinunasan ko ang mata ko, siguro umiyak na naman ako habang nanaginip ng eksenang yun
I stood up and headed to the bathroom, naligo muna ko nang mahimasmasan naman ako
After 45 mins. natapos na din ako then sinuot ko na yung white couple shirt namen tapos nag black jeans and vans na shoes then bumaba na ako para kunin yung bouquet and candles.
Huminga ako ng malalim tapos lumabas na ako ng subdivision para mag taxi papunta dun
Magkikita na rin kami sa wakas after 2 years, see you Lester....
