I'm so glad YoloCat1 kicked my ass to continue this. I didn't realize so many wattpaders or whatever you wanna call yourselves liked it. I'm so so happy right now. Anyway, story time!
Today was the day! You were gonna go to earth to watch over your beloved L! You could almost dance, even though you would receive looks. You were on your way to God's palace for him to send you there or give you wings or however this was gonna go down. You also smuggled a few cookies for the road. They were too good to resist. You finally made it to God's golden, pearly palace. You stepped through the gates and once again stared at the beauty. It was so magnificent and large. You finally reached God's throne with God in it. You asked around and the other angels said that you didn't have to bow to God. Just don't give him any lip.
"Excuse me, I'm here to go and watch over L." You said sounding excited. You've waited only two days for this but it seemed like an eternity.
"I can tell. The only person that will be able to see you at all times it L. You may make yourself visible to anyone you wish. You may disappear as you wish too. Now be careful. Everyone depends on you down there. Farewell. And Good luck."
"Wait, that's it? No food or -"
You were cut off by the clap of God's hands. You were immediately sent down to Earth, straight to L.
~Ryuuzaki's point of view~
It had been two days after your funeral but he still couldn't believe you were gone. He had been sleeping worse thank usual. Hell, he even lost his appetite for sweets. Everyone tried their best to comfort him to make him normal, whole. But the only thing that could fix him was you. He woke up with darker circles under his eyes and his hair a rat's nest. He looked in the mirror and didn't bother to fix it. He didn't have anyone to look good for anyway. He laid on his couch and stared up at the ceiling contemplating life when all of a sudden her heard someone call him by his name. Not just L or Ryuuzaki either. His real name. Lawliet. It wasn't just anyone's voice either. It was a female voice. He stood up and looked around.
"Who's there? Show yourself." He said casually with his hands in his pockets.
You slowly appeared once you realized you were invisible.
"Umm...long time no see?" You said awkwardly. You weren't really sure how to greet him
'Goddammit that was a stupid thing to say!' you mentally facepalmed.
"_-____?" L was shocked. His ____ was standing there right in front of him. ___ eyes ___ hair and all! He could cry. "Is it really you? Or am I hallucinating things?"
"It is really me honey." You said with a smile.
You float closer to him and lay a hand on his cheek. You and him were thankful that you could make contact.
"I'm so glad you're back!" He pulls you into a soft passionate kiss.
The tears start running down both of your cheeks. They were tears of joy, happy to be with the other.
You two slowly break apart after a few moments.
"I thought I'd never see you again!" He cried, not caring about showing his emotions.
"Well I'm here now. There's a specific reason why I'm here." You started to explain.
"What's going on?" He asked curiously.
"Well. I died and made it to Heaven. I met God and he told me he wanted me to keep an eyes on you because of Kira. A.K.A dirty murderer biatch Light. So here I am now. I'm kinda your guardian angel shinigami thingy." You explained.
"Ah. I see. But you are way more beautiful than any shinigami I've seen." He tried to flirt, which made you chuckle.
"Why thank you. And by the way, I can make myself present to other people if I want to. But I am always visible to you." You add.
"You have to stay hidden from Light. If he figures out you're back we are in some deep shit."
"Definitely. Anyway, do you still have that piece of death note paper?" You ask.
"Yes I do." He quickly pulls it out of his pocket to show you and puts it back.
"Excellent. I might be able to see it since I'm dead."
"You will most likely be able to." L said yawning.
He just realized how tired he was.
"Sleepy I see?" You note. "Would you like to cuddle? We haven't done that in awhile."
L smiles slightly.
"Id like that." He states and pulls her to the bedroom. She giggled and floated behind him
They both spent the day cuddling and sleeping. And maybe eating some strawberry cake in-between.
