Maria's pov
I was walking down the hall to my next class. Then I see Brennan there with his friends.
I start walking really fast. I finally past him. It's been really awkward between Brennan and I since that kiss, I mean that was my first kiss and his, I think.
I walked into science class, witch is my last period and then we go home. I was looking around and I saw a few of my friends. I waved and they waved back.
I hear the bell ring and everyone walked in including Brennan. I see him look at me and he smiles and waves I wave back and smile.

School was finally over and since I walk home that doesn't really matter. "Hey! Maria wait up!" I hear a familiar voice say.
I turned around and see Brennan and I smile. "Hey." I said. "Hey, it's been so long since we talked." He told me "yeah I know." I say.
"So Brennan..do you remember what happened like 2 weeks ago?" I asked him.
"Uhh..yeah" he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"You were my first kiss" I tell him "and you were mine" he says. I felt my face heat up as I smile.
"I feel like it kind of weird I mean we met like a few months ago and we are dating and we are only 13." I tell him "I know but I really like you." He tells me.
"I really like you too." I said. I can see his cheek turn a light shade of pink as he smiles.
The rest of the walk home was just us talking about Pokemon go and all that stuff.

Brennan walked me to my house "so I'll see you later." He says then he gives me a kiss on the cheek. I couldn't help but smile and blush at the same time.
"Bye." I say as I walk up towards my front door. He waves and I wave too.
I entered my house it was completely silent. I walked inside the kitchen and I found a note on the fridge.
"Hey honey, your dad and I went to go buy some groceries, we will be back by 4:30, you are old enough to take care of yourself, but be careful make sure you lock all the doors love you!

I put the note down and I grabbed a water bottle and headed upstairs to my room.
I got to my room and started my homework.
Brennan's pov
I walk inside my house and I see my mom with camera out. "Hey Brennan how was school?" My mom asked facing the camera towards me.
"It was great, I learned a lot in math class today. And on the way home I caught some Pokemon." I said.
"Oh really, how many Pokemon did you catch?" She asked "like 4." I say.
I walked to my fridge and grabbed a water bottle. I get my backpack and walk to the table to do some homework.
I noticed that I was the only kid home. Katie is at practice and Ryan is most likely with his friends at the playground.
After I finished my home work I decided to ask my mom if I could go down to the park were Ryan is at. "Hey mom, is it alright if I go down to the park?" I asked her.
"Yeah that's fine, I'll call you guys when dinner is ready." She said. "K thanks see you later love you." I say "love you too." I waved and closed the door behind me.
I decided to text Maria and ask if she wants to come to the park with me.
Me: hey do you wanna go down to the park with me?
Maria: yeah sure let me ask my parent.
Maria: they said yes I'm going right now.
Me: ok I'm waiting outside.
Maria: k
I see her come out and she walks towards me. We walked down and as soon as we couldn't see the house anymore I intertwined my finger with hers and the whole way there we were holding hands.
