The Boys

Charlotte's P.O.V

I have always hated her, ever since that day in the park.

Well, let's rewind to the day I met the boys.

It was the first day of my second year in Oakfield High, and we were all sat in assembly. Our headteacher Mr. Brown was droning on and on about good behaviour and bringing in homework. I heard snoring from behind me, then he got off that subject, what was he saying new pupils. I sat up and listened, five new boys were lined up in front of the stage. They were introduced as: Zayn, Harry, Louis, Niall and Liam. I caught Louis' eye and he smiled at me, I knew that I fancied him from that day.

I was in first lesson, French, when Mr. Brown came in with the five boys. We all stood up and he said,

'Charlotte, can you do me a favour?' 

'Yes Sir?' I said back to him.

'Will you show these boys around for me, you can bring one or two friends, they are in all your classes so it should be no problem for you.' Mr. Brown said.

'Yes, of course sir,' I said delighted. I will get to talk to Louis now, I thought to myself.

I looked around the room deciding who to bring with me, I was still stood up when I realized that Mr. Brown wasn't even in the room anymore. Oops, I thought to myself and sat down. 

I couldn't bring Sammy, Lauren or Jess because they are in a different set to me. I know Cerys would love to come because she loves Irish accents, that's one decided. What about Bethan? She has a boyfriend, Tom, but I know she can tell them lots about the school. That's two decided. I told them that they were the people I chose, and at the end of the class we started to show them around. Bethan's boyfriend came up to say hi, but after that they went back to playing football or rugby or whatever it was that they were playing.

'So, you single?' Louis said to me with a wink.

'Yep,' I said, blushing.

Cerys and Bethan raised an eyebrow at me and smiled.
