Chapter One: The Miracle Of Hope.

Hello guys! I'm guessing you're reading this story for a reason- probably because Kubo's ending didn't give you closure. I obviously like writing and I wrote this particular story to give myself closure. It's nice when people read your stories but it's even better if they let you know that they have read them.        After nine hundred and ninety nine years, the thousand year blood war between the Shinigami and the Quincy was coming to a conclusion-it was in its final nine days. The war that began a millennium back with a battle which ended with the near annihilation of the Quincy was once again reignited when the King of the Quincy was unsealed and he built an army. With a surprise attack on the soul society, the very powerful Quincy tribe laid waste to most of the sereitei. Furthermore, they were able to steal bankais from a number of the captains which they went on to use to defeat their owners. The head captain, Yamamoto Genryusai, in a feat of rage-after the defeat of his lieutenant and friend-attacked Yhwach with his bankai and just when he thought he had defeated him, he lost terribly and was consequently killed. Kyoraku and Byakuya and a number of other captains also lost their fights against their Quincy opponents. Just as the Quincy were about to destroy the sereitei, as ordered by their King, Ichigo arrived from Hueco Mundo and they retreated. Though Ichigo managed to send away the Quincy, his Tensa Zangetsu was broken! Fortunately, the Zero division came to the thirteen court guard squads and helped to re-forge Ichigo's bankai. They also treated Renji, Rukia and Byakuya. When the Quincy attacked the sereitei again, the Shinigami were better prepared than the first time and they managed to put up a better fight. Having acknowledged the strength of the opponents, the new head captain-Kyoraku Shunsui-ordered captain Unohana of squad four to train Captain Zaraki. The training eventually ended when Zaraki killed Unohana and became stronger. The head captain also released Aizen Sousuke from the underground prison-This did not go down well with the other soul reapers. Yhwach made it to the soul king's palace and defeated the zero division with his sternritter. After Ichigo and his friends failed to stop him because of Ishida's intervention, Yhwach absorbed the soul king and became the new soul king! The captains moved up to the soul palace with Aizen's help. Ichigo and friends made it back into the soul palace with the help of the full bringers. Yhwach had reshaped the whole palace to suit his tastes! The final battle began as the captains encountered the sternritter.
