Chapter Six: Mastery

The fight between Isshin and Jugram was fairly balanced but once Jugram felt Yhwach opening the portal, he couldn't settle for a draw any more. He wanted to finish the fight as quickly as possible to go and join the king of the Quincy down in the soul society. Suddenly, they both felt a very strong reiatsu coming from the shuttered palace. It was very thick and dark. Ryuuken moved closer to where Isshin was standing-he was just about to release his bankai-Ryuuken put his hand on his shoulder.

"You should go..." He said to him, "I will finish up here."

 Isshin did not hesitate, he ran right off to where the reiatsu had originated-it was Ichigo's!

Even after his opponent had left, Jugram still retained the desire to go and join Yhwach.

"I have nothing against you and as a fellow Quincy; I'd prefer not to harm you." He said to Ryuuken. Ryuuken remained silent for a few seconds.

"As a fellow Quincy?" He asked rhetorically, "I am the last Quincy...I have no fellow Quincy."

"No matter. I will just have to kill you swiftly and be on my way." Jugram jabbered. His reiatsu grew exponentially and exploded upwards.

"VOLLSTANDEG GLEICHGEWICHT!!" he shouted. When the dust settled, he had six reishi wings!! There was a massive bow attached at the wrist of his right hand. Ryuuken was totally unfazed by the form! Jugram shot an arrow past Ryuuken's right hand. As it bypassed him, the arrow burnt away all of his right sleeve and then blew up five blocks behind him!

"Surely, you're not too stupid to notice the power gap!!" Jugram bragged.

"Honestly...I'm not quite impressed yet!!" Ryuuken responded while examining his burnt arm, "Is that all you sold your soul for?!"

Offended by the statement, Jugram took aim at Ryuuken's chest and shot an arrow! The arrow exploded with such power that it dug a hole all around Ryuuken. Ryuuken was however kept safe by a capsule which was formed out of his Quincy cross.

"Vollstandige Vernichtung...that's all you're capable of..." Ryuuken remarked as the capsule reverted to a cross, "Honestly, that's not very impressive! Anyone can destroy things! What would be impressive is hitting only what you want to hit!"

He took the cross off his neck and held it in his stretched out right hand by its lace. The cross turned into a four in one bow!

"This is the bogen des alteren..." Ryuuken blabbered, "It's the bow of the last Quincy."

As Ryuuken got ready to shoot, so did Jugram. Jugram released his arrow before Ryuuken and it seemed like it would be enough to win the fight.

"Pfeil des lichts" Ryuuken murmured as he released his arrow. The white arrow from Ryuuken's bow split Jugram's arrow into four harmless flashes and went on to hit Jugram in the centre of his chest. Its force lifted him up in to the air before dropping him back to the ground shattering all his wings. His body hurt all over and he was bleeding from the wound on his chest and the mouth. Ryuuken lowered his right arm and the bow reverted to a Quincy cross.

"Hmm...It appears I am a bit rusty!" Ryuuken remarked, "Goodbye, Quincy wannabe."

As Ryuuken turned to leave, Jugram shot an arrow at his back! Somehow, he noticed in time and moved out of its way! Without even turning to look, he held the Quincy cross behind him and it turned into a bow.
