I was posted at the gate , again , when I saw two flashes of light near by in the woods . " I'm going to see what or who that was ! " I tell Garroth , my gate buddy . yeah I'm weird like that ! Deal with it !!!! I hear a melodic voice as I approach the clearing where the rest of the portals are . " Well it shouldn't be hard to convince my little bro to let us stay in Phoenix Drop with how cute I am ! " it says . I walk slowly towards them and clear my throat . " excuse me , but I saw some flashes and came to check it out ! I'm not really a threat unless you can't beat a FORMER head guard ! " I say politely , looking at them , scanning for any type of weaponry that is dangerous . I think the me'fwia girl was a little , well , surprised at seeing ME . She started to fangirl and I was just plain weirded out . She was freaking out and saying things like , " OGS !!!! THAT'S LAURENCE OF THE MCD REALM !!!! " or , " WE'RE IN MCD !!!!!! IT'S A DREAM COME TRUE !!!! I'M HOME !!!!! WHERE'S GG ?!?!?! HUH ?!?!?! WHERE IS HE ?!?!?!?! LITTLE BRO !!!! WHERE ARE YOU ?!?!?! " . Yeah , it was weird . She calmed down after the girl with the white eyes whispered something to her about throwing all her pictures of me? in the trash when they got back . " ummm , hello ? I'm here to take you to Phoenix Drop , and what are you talking about ? " I ask the group of girls who are whispering and giggling softly . " oh , our leader really , really loves the guy how falls into holes a lot . She laughs every time she thinks about it ! " the girl with the black glasses says , " by the way , I'm Partysaurus ! I just notice how beautiful she is , with black hair that shines like gold in the sunlight , striking purple eyes , the form that lots of men go for , and the perfectly shaped me'fwia ears . " hey ! Can you just take us to your village please ! " said the man with the very dark glasses says , looking at me . I snap out of my trance and look at him . Something sets me off when he and the white-eyed girl look at me . I feel dark energy coming off of them in waves . They probably feel my shadow aura , too , if they are like that . " fine , but first I want to know your names . " I say . " oh , where are my manners ! I'm Katana Remore Ro'meave , but you can call me Hope ! These are my friends TBell , TheBigCheese , Partysaurus , and the white-eyed genius over there is Hirona Thunder Brine , The daughter of my sworn enemy , HEROBRINE . " my crush says , wait CRUSH !!!! OMI Laurence get together !!! ( This = Laurence's shadow side talking ) actually you really just need to kill them ! What are you crazy ! No I'm just bored . " Shut up . " I say , not realizing that I said that out loud . " huh ? " says the grey guy , " did you say something ? " " oh . sorry about that ! I- " Hope cuts me off " he's probably arguing with his ' shadow side ' . he's a shadow knight , so he has arguments a lot ! I can sense it ! " she says , seeing my confused face . " oh . Darnit ! I was hoping you wouldn't sense that ! And by the way , how did you know that i've fallen into a hole ? " I ask . " first off , it was two holes , second off , I have informants ! " she says , giggling . " Oh no . Ya got her started . Great ! Just great ! Thanks , now I'm going to have to carry her to Phoenix Drop ! " hiro says , looking annoyed . " sorry . Anyway , who are you guys ? " I ask , getting a throat-clearing at me . I look over and see a lady with a little baby boy glaring at me . " *le sigh * and girls . " I say apologetically . " Well , I'm sky , that there is Barney , the sloth is Ross , the guy with the z necklace is mad max , the one with the purple and white jacket is Jin , the guy with the dino onsie is red , the beautiful woman with the baby mason is my wife Alesa , and the woman in the rainbow dino onsie is Shelby , or shubble as we like to call her ! " says sky , obviously out of breath at the end . " woah , you alright ? Your sorta red there ! " I say , very carefully , because out of the corner of my eye I see Ross and max steaming ! " FOR THE LAST TIME , I'M NOT A SLOTH ! I'M A NARWHAL !!!!!! " Ross screams . IN MY EAR ! I feel my eyes turning red as I stare at him angrily . " oh no . Bad . Bad . Bad . Ross , you screamed in his ear , which , from what I know from experience , triggers the red eyes , which triggers madness , which it turn triggers , * I turn into my shadow form * the shadow knight form . * le sigh * UGH ! WHY ! IRENE , WHY ! I HATE THE WAY I SIGH ! " she says , I see her running towards me and she gently hugs me and strokes my back , saying sweet words of help , calming me . I sigh . She just stays there the whole way back , by my side , keeping me calm . Garroth sees her and runs to us , hugging her tight . I'm out of my shadow knight form now , and the group , along with Hope , agreed not to talk about it unless someone insisted that we tell them . I see Garroth and Hope talking by the side of the gate . He nods , agreeing to something . Heh , it's only fair that he knows about my little , break out . She walks over and just hugs me . It's like she knows what I'm going through . " Heh , I do . " She says . " huh ? " I say , a little confused . " I know what your going through . Though I didn't go through the pain of the ritual , I know of the pain your suffering now . I was , unfortunately , born a shadow knight . For an explanation , my great grandmother , marigreta was a shadow knight . And here I am , her fifty-first descendant , a born shadow knight , and one of the most powerful Infinities in the world . " She says , smiling weakly , obviously unhappy about the fact that she's a born shadow knight . " come on , you can live with me while we build you a house . " I say , smiling brightly . She giggles . " thanks , Laurence . It really means a lot , But I'll sleep on the floor . I always bring a mat with me for situations like these ! " she says , pulling out a big fluffy mat that was white . " Ok , fine . But I always am a gentleman ! You should really sleep on the bed ! " I say , very concerned that she could get hurt . " I can see that your worried , but honestly , I'm fine ! " she says hugging me . I gently hold her and we walk to my place . I had fixed up the old guard station to have a third floor in which I slept along with Garroth . Dante had a house , so no need to worry about him . I actually slept on the second floor , and Garroth , obviously , got the third . He had the strangest weapons up there , from diamond swords to very powerful armor . It was weird . We arrived at the guard tower and Hope looked like she was trying to hold in her excitement . Heh , should've expected that . " Come on , let's get you settled in . Follow me . " I say , gazing into her bright purple eyes . They were something , I'll tell ya that . You could just take one look , but you'd be hooked . I started to get nervous , she was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen . She just sat there and after a while she gave me something I wouldn't normally suspect . She kissed my cheek , and hugged me tightly , murmuring to me about how her heart fluttered every time she was with me . Both mentally and physically . Did that mean she was here a few times before now ? I realized that she loved me like there's no tomorrow . Sparks danced around my waist as she hugged me . She said that she was born into the Badaldi family , but was adopted by Garroth's parents . Before Garroth was born she was kicked out , only she didn't leave O'khasis , she helped with all the thieves there . She was a mystery only to the people of O'khasis , but Lord Garte knew all to well who she was . She had come with a proposal , to protect O'khasis from the thieves . But , in return she would get to stay at the castle during special occasions , like Garroth's birthday , or even the Lady Irene festival . She was 25 , so she was Garroth's older sister . " he says that you're the most dangerous person in O'khasis ! And is it true about the wyvern thing ? " I ask . " Heh , I WAS the most dangerous person in O'khasis , but then , Zane found out about my power . He wanted it , so I left , leaving a note on Garroth , Vlyad , and Lord Garte's beds saying that for the safety of the rest of the Ro'meaves , I had to leave , so Zane wouldn't take my power . It was so hard to do , but I had to . To prevent a terrible mistake from happening , which was Zane becoming the king of the Pheonix kind . My kin , unfortunately , would almost certainly suffer under his rule . I was concerned for my friends and family . I couldn't , no , wouldn't just stand by and let it happen so I left . " She said , tearing up . " shhh ... it's okay , it's okay . Your back and that's all that matters right now . " I said , comforting her . " l-l-Laurence i-i love you . I really didn't want to say anything about it because I am a little embarrassed by it . " She says , stuttering as she said that . I was thinking on what I should say , but my feelings took control and I kissed her . ON THE LIPS . I tried to pull away , but she wouldn't let me . She was lovely and perfect in every way .
