Dipper's POV
"Pain is hilarious, You are lucky you will have it every time you try to disobey, I will control you, Pine Tree... You have been warned... How's that for a favor?" After that, another blinding light came in my vision in a flash, making me completely lose my eyesight, while I still lay on the floor, kicking, bang my fist, clenching my head, trying to soften the pain."AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" I screamed.
My eyes shot open, as I gasped for air, pleading it to fill up my lungs. I panted, then noticed, I was still up on the tree. In front of me, I saw the sun, rising above the waters, causing the sky to be brighter, but not completely. The light provide by the sun, made every leaf of every tree, the little waves of the rivers, and grass advertised by flowers glisten with a beautiful golden light.
A snore.
A snort.
A sigh.
I flinched. That's when I noticed I had some weight on my shoulder, followed by warmth, and air, repeating over and over again. This little weight deflated, then inflated, over and over again.
I glanced at my shoulder, there I found Pacifica, sleeping solemnly peaceful on my shoulder. Her slender hands, slowly made their way around my arm on the corresponding shoulder. She held it tight, as she snuggled closer to my arm, burying her face in it like a little puppy searching for warmth.
I smiled, not wasting the time I still have before she wakes up, staring at her, makes my world feel whole. Then I remembered, the so called "favor". The thought of that shattered the happiness I just felt a few seconds ago.
Automatically, I instantly brain stormed, searching for answers. Something! Anything! To let me know what to do, what should I do, what can I do? The thought of what could happen terrified me, making the things that will happen seem like nothing, it is impossible to have no hesitation, it is impossible to avoid the pain that is coming my way.
"Huh?" A voice said. I snapped my head, facing Pacifica, watching her wake up. She flickered her eyes open, yawning at the instance. She removed her hands from my arm, and stretched out wide, yawning a bigger yawn.
"What time is it? She asked, sleepily, still in the middle of the yawn, while she scratched the back of her head.
"Telling by the...*yawns* sun, it's about 5-6 am." I replied, the yawning was contagious, I couldn't help but yawn too.
"Hmmm..." She said, scratching my arm, too sleepy to notice it was actually me who she was scratching. " GIDEON!" She realized, I'm so dead. She shot her eyes open, and straightened her posture.
Then I remembered, " MABEL!" I realized. I'm so dead. I looked back at Pacifica, who had the same terrified face on, staring at me with the horrible realization.
"Quick! Let's go back to town!" She ordered, I nodded, completely agreeing. She grabbed my hand, pulling me to the exit of the tree house, which was a ladder leading towards the ground. She stopped, standing like a statue as she stared at the ground like it was a monster about to engulf her with flames coming from its mouth.
I looked up at her, then back at they ground. She's afraid. I started climbing down the ladder, an idea popping in my head, but I'm not so sure it would work out fine. Well, it was a calculated risk.
