"Nessie?" my mom enters the room. "We've got something special for you. You and Logan are getting married soon, so we thought you'd like to have your very own house. Here's the address where you can get your keys," she says, handing me a small piece of paper. "Sweetheart, you okay?"

My eyes got a bit teary.

"Thank you so much," I say, hugging her tightly.

"There's something you didn't tell us, I can tell," she says, sighing. "What's the matter Does it have to do with Logan, huh?"

I sigh and tell my mom the whole story. I even show her the video Logan sent me.

"So, did you talk to him since then, Honey?" she asks me.

"No," I reply.

"Do you remember how dad got drunk once, Dear?" she asks again.

I nod slowly.

"Nessie, you begged me to forgive him right then. I did so. I know I didn't like Logan at first, but it was before I met him. He got drunk 'cause he cares for you, Ness. This time I'm here to beg you to forgive a drunk man. He loves you. What he told you then did hurt him too. Please, give Logan one more chance..."

"Okay, I'll Skype him," I say.

My mom leaves the room quickly.

"Hello, Nessie," Logan answers, smiling weakly. "I'm really sorry for what happened between us recently..."

He looks very pale, his eyes are bright red. Was he crying?

"How could you?" I ask him. "How could you think that I'd do such a mean thing? Not only to you, but to MY BEST FRIEND?"

"I don't know..." Logan says in a shaky voice. "Since my accident I've been fearing that you won't want to be with me and that you'll find yourself another  man... When I saw the pic Carlos sent me by accident, you know... I was sure I'd lose you..."

I start singing.

Logan cuts me off, singing in his beautiful voice.
