Starbucks!

When the two got to Starbucks Tom kindly opened the door for Ellie, Ellie smiled and thanked him. They made their way to the counter to order their drinks. Ellie asked for a hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows on top. As Ellie got her purse out to pay Tom stepped in front and quickly ordered the same. He took out his credit card and gave it too the lady to swipe. Ellie tried to stop him but he insisted he would pay for the drinks.

They got to a table by the window facing the beach Ellie asked why Tom paid for her. He replied with "I wanted to treat a beautiful girl like you" Ellie blushed at his comment and thanked him for the complement. She gave him a smile and he smiled back at her she laughed because Tom had a bit of cream on his nose. Confused, Tom asked why she was laughing she said you've got somet- and quickly took the cream off. Tom laughed because of this. there was an awkward silence between them before Tom looked at Ellie and Ellie looked a Tom, both trying not to laugh but ended up laughing at the awkwardness between them.

As they sipped their hot chocolates that were now warm enough to drink Tom asked Ellie her age, she told him she was 18 and asked the same question back to Tom. She found out that he was 19, a year older than her. They kept asking each other questions about themselves to get to know each other.

After the questions Ellie starred outside looking at the beach. She thought it was beautiful because the sun was making the sea glisten, she wanted to go on it to take some photos for her uni project. Politely but shyly she asked Tom if he would like to join her to take some photos of the beach before the sun set happens, he replied with "sure I want to take some as well anyway" Ellie was surprised because she didn't know that he liked taking photos as well as playing the guitar. After quickly finishing their drinks they made their way to the beach.
