Believe in Me (Demi Lovato)

While Alison was on her way home with Charles, a little girl came to her.

"Hi, I'm Kira." The auburn haired girl said.

Alison smiled, and extended her arm, "Hello, Kira. I'm Alison. And this is my best friend, Charles."

"Nice to meet you." Alison and Charles said in unison.

Kira immediately took it and shook it.

"Why are you here alone? How old are you?" Alison asked worriedly.

"I'm five. And my moms just went there to get me a drink." Kira pointed on a small store on the other side of the street.

Alison saw two ladies whose hands were intertwined. "Oh." Was the only word came out her mouth.

"Yeah. I get that all the time." The little girl sighed and looked down.

Charles and Alison made eye contact saying 'uh oh she thinks I'm/you're straight'.

Alison immediately made Kira look at her using her hand to tilt her head, "Hey sweetie, it's not what I meant. I actually have a secret to tell you."

Alison leaned down to whisper on her ears, "I like girls too."

She stood straight back up, grinning as the kid's face lightened up, "Really?"

"Yeah well I mean, I like boys but there's a girl that I really like." Alison explained.

"Or should I say love?" Charles teased. Alison hit him playfully, then rolled her eyes.

"Yay!! What's her name?" Kira asked excitedly.

Alison threw Charles a sharp eye, the boy immediately raised his both hands as a mock of surrender.

"Her name is uh.. Uhm... Emily." The blonde hesitated, but did it anyway.

Suddenly they all snapped their heads across the street as they heard Kira's mom's voice calling her, "Kira honey  come on! We gotta go."

The kid shouted an okay before saying her goodbyes to them.

But there was one thing that the little girl said that made Alison remember something, "Goodbye, Alison. And by the way, you're really beautiful. I like your eyes."

As Alison walked through the halls of Rosewood High, wearing her signature smile, with her posse behind her back, she bumped into someone, which made her things fell off her hands.

"Watch it, dumb ass!" She shouted a little too loud and a little too harsh.

Everyone stopped and stared.

The boy immediately picked up her things, "I-I'm s-sorry." He answered stuttering, obviously intimidated by Alison.

Alison just crossed her arms.

When the boy finished picking her stuffs, he stood up and gave it all back to her. "I-I'm-I'm r-really sorry." The boy repeated.

"Just go away. Ugh!!!" She said irritated.

The boy left as fast as he could when he saw Alison getting irritated.

The girls gave Alison a sharp look, knowing what she did was too much.
