Chapter One:

Amber's POV

Ugh, I can't believe dad is making me go to this private school. I've never been one of those brats that went to private schools and bragged about their money. I went to a public school and lived a normal, standard life. Since dad got promoted in his job, everything has changed. Mum dresses differently, we eat differently and dad is always buying new expensive things that we don't even need. Tomorrowwill be my first day at Penola... even the name of the school makes me cringe. 

~Next Morning~

"Tyler, don't do this to me. Don't leave me, I love you so much." "Sorry Amber, but it's over."

*BEEP BEEP*

 "AHH FOR FUCKS SAKE!" I hit my annoying alarm clock to the floor. I really didn't want to wake up, I felt myself drifting off back to sleep. "AMBER, IT'S YOUR FIRST DAY AT A NEW SCHOOL! You don't want to make a bad first impression honey." "Ughhh.." I mumbled to myself. I sloppily got out of bed and went to shower. I let the hot water wash my thoughts away. I miss Tyler so much, we have been dating for 10 months and 4 days. Not that I've been counting. I got out the shower and went back to my room to get dressed. My hair is brown and naturally wavy but todayI felt like straightening it. I dip died my tips red in the holidays, let's hope the teachers don't shit on me about it. I finished straightening my hair and I put on some black leggings, a loose fitted white tank top and my favourite hazel uggs. Today is my first day of being a Junior at a new school. I went downstairs to get some breakfast and was warmly greeted by my mum. Dad is usually never home in the morning, he is always spending the night "at work". I finished eating my cereal and quickly texted my boyfriend,

Tyler:

Hey babe, heading off to school now. I miss you, see you soon. Love you x - Amber.

I got my keys and went to my car. As I got in, my mom came rushing out the front door. "Honey, you forgot your lunch!" I ran up to the front door and took the lunch from her, "Thanks mom." I kissed her cheek and left. I turned on the radio as I was driving and All Around The World was on! I am a Belieber so this just made my day. I arrived at Penola and parked my car. As I was walking through the hallway, I noticed all the different cliques.. the jocks, the prissy bitches, the stoners and the geeks. But then this one group stood out, it was 5 guys who looked as if they were very full of themselves and cocky. But I won't lie, they were HOT. And one of them stood out, he had a blonde streak in his dark brown hair, a lip ring and a nose ring. My eyes met his and he smiled, so I quickly turned away because I could feel my cheeks going red. Stop it Amber, you have a boyfriend. I walked to the office to get my schedule and locker number. I went to my locker to put my books in and as I turned around, that hot guy was there again. He had a smirk on his face, "Hey" he said. "Hi" I smiled back. I walked off and went to my first lesson which was biology. As I walked in I got a few glances from some people and I went to sit next to the corner of the classrooms. The classroom started fill up with kids and then that guy came in and sat behind me. I really need to find out his name since I've seen him so often already.

The teacher started reading the class list and that's when I found out his name, Luke Brooks.
