Forgetfulness

The area was surrounded by oblivion.
At first everything was silent and peaceful; a little too quiet. Soon it would disturb even the most relaxed character . Then, a unidentifiable figure with cold ,dark eyes would peer from the darkness.

It's voice seemed calm and harmless. It was as soft and clean as butter cut with a warm knife. The voice spoke words of wisdom, knowledge and ,peace. Yet it was something one could never forget; except the details were forgotten. Therefore making the dialogue difficult next to impossible to decipher.

The voice became harsher then the original tone that could make anyone nervous. The voice came closer, closer, closer. Until the ringing in ears was audible from a screech. Then, silence. The cold, dark eyes had disappeared as did the figure from before. It became like before yet fear was sensed. A round of screaming and yelling followed after the same pattern began again. One would wish for the screaming to stop for it seamed endless. As if it was magic, the cold eyes finally disappeared once again.

It came back again. The worst type of cruelty someone could inflict. It was watching one's pain and struggles enclose them into a state of forgetfulness where the only way to get rid of the pain was to forget of they really were. Sadly this was how a person could fit in with the world.

You might wondering how this impacts you. Society is the darkness and the figure are people in society. In a society where you are judged by your looks , words and actions. You start to forget about who you really are. Forgetfulness is the harsh truth when it comes to life. There's no way you can avoid it. Sure it can be small at first but soon lead to diversity.

There are little clicks people fit into for being themselves. Some are looked down upon as not being right or down right unnatural. Others may be deamed upon as amazing and ground breaking. Forgetfulness is how you soon become mind controlled to thinking that everyone and everything is okay when it really isn't.

But please promise me this, never ever forget who you are because when you do a little spark gets blown out and joins the tactful many against the outspoken few. Because, the worst thing a you could ever do is forget yourself and we don't need anymore of society running and ruling our world.

So, what do you say? Will you come with me to few to change the world so everyone can be themselves without being judged or forgotten or stay in the darkness of the tactful many. It's your choice.
