Lost or Found

Chapter 1

I was excited today at school because I got to go shopping after school with my boyfriend, Ethan, also with my amazing bestfriends, Emma, Olivia, and Maryssa. I was heading to 1st period when I was stopped by Ethan putting his hand around my waist. "Hey, Ethan."

"Hi, Hope, how are you today." he said with a bright smile. He was so cute with his light brown hair and his dark hazel eyes.

"Wonderful!" I say smiling back.

"Great." he says. Gosh I love him.

There rest of the day was great. No homework too. After school Ethan took us to the mall. We stopped at Aero and B&BW (Ethan hated that) and now we were just walking finding our next store. I just had to go to the bathroom first. " Hey guys, brb I have to go to the bathroom." 

"OK." Olivia answered. "Will we meet you at Vanity." Ethan sighed.

"Do we have to." he said, sounding exasperated.

"Yes, of course we do." Emma said. "See you!"

I laughed at my friends. I went to the bathroom. When I came out I headed for Vanity. I was half-way there when there was a big explosion. Then everything went BLACK. 

~Ethan's POV~

5 minutes later of boring girl shopping an explosion. It sounded like it came by the bathrooms. I look at Emma, Olivia, and Maryssa and I know they are thinking the same thing. We all are about to run out of the store, but the employees are keeping us back. "Are friend is out there we have to see if she is ok!" Maryssa screams. The employee just shakes her head. 

"Are you ok?" Emma asks. "you're hyperventilating."

"Ya fine." I says out of breath. Then I drop.

"He is waking up." A voice says. It seems distant. I feel groggy.

"What happend." I ask not knowing who was there.

"You don't remember?" It was Olivia. Then I immediately remembered. I stood up pushing the throbbing to the side of my head.

"Where is she?" I say in a panicked voice. I relized that we were still in the mall, but we were in the back of the store. There was still a lot of commotion going on.

"We don't know the police think that she is dead but it would take awhile to get her out. So the mall is going to close down. We have to go." Emma says in a choked voice. I relize that they all have tears streaming down there face. I start bursting into tears. This can't be happening. I think. I can't lose her.

"C'mon we have to go." there is anger in Maryssa voice, probably at the person who did this. They will pay I don't care how long it takes me they will pay. We walk away from the choas and towards the parking lot. I still can't believe this happened. My girlfriend gone and the they won't be able to get her out until a least next week. This is going to be hard for everyone.
