Shut Up and Drink

"Hey Griffin, that cute girl over there is giving you the heart eyes you should go talk to her." I look in the direction that Raven was looking at and see a super cute brunette with emerald green eyes.

"I don't know Ray.. Somebody as cute as her wouldn't talk to a girl like me." Just by looking at the girl on the other side of the bar I would get lost in her beautiful eyes.

"What do you know? You haven't talked to her yet. Doesn't hurt to try."

Raven turns me around and pushes me in the direction of the brunette.

"Wait." I turn the bar tender for two shots and I down both of them in just a few seconds before I continue walking towards the girl.

I can feel the butterflies starting to flutter in my stomach making me super nervous. As I stop at where she's sitting I swallow my fear and finally get the courage to speak, "...hey."

She looks at me and I notice a slight smirk on her face "hey there stranger, to what might the name be of this fine lady in front of me?" Her voice was so smooth. So angel like. So mesmerizing. I could tell she's been hurt before but she spoke with so much confidence. If I could I would get on my knees and bow down to her but I wouldn't want to embarrass myself. I don't want to ruin this chance.

"Clarke. Clarke Griffin. And your name is?"

"I'm Lexa.." A smile appears on her face as she winks at me. I look at her with a smirk on my face and giggle. "Well why don't you take a seat Clarke, let me buy you a drink." She motions to the bar tender asking for two drinks.

I sit down in the stool next to her and the bar tender brings us our drinks.

"Thanks. You're very nice."

"Anything for a beauty like you."

I feel my cheeks start to heat up and I know that I am of course blushing.

"Awe nice to know that I can make you blush."

"Uhhh." I'm completely at a loss for words. Speechless and now embarrassing myself. What was I thinking.

"It's ok, you don't have to say a word, just shut up and drink."

I grab my drink and down it in one go.

"You seem pretty thirsty."

"Just the nerves."

"Ah, well what do you say we get out of here and go somewhere?"

"Yea, sure, sounds great, I would love to."

She finishes her drink as I text Raven that I'm leaving so she won't worry about me.

"Alright I'm ready how about you?" She places some money on the counter paying for the drinks.

"Yea lets go." We hold each other's hands and leave the club without looking back. Damn I can't believe this is happening.
