Beach days and breakups

Sabrina's pov
Me and Peyton had the car blasted with music. It was Beyoncé until Peyton took my phone, changing it to smoke and fire. "Really pey"? I said."yeah dis is my jam" he said dancing. I sang along and soon we were at the beach. I grabbed my bag from the backseat and Peyton grabbed the cooler and we ran down the sand to Rowan and Corey.

Peyton's pov
We had just sat down on our towels facing the ocean. "Hey Peyton, we gotta find a way to get Rowan and Sabrina in the water. Cause they are not gonna go in on their own" Corey said. "You thinking what I'm thinking"? I said. Corey moved next to Rowan and we picked them up, before running as fast as we can. "Corey what are you doing"? Rowan asked. But Sabrina already knew what was happening. "NOOOOOOOOOOOO PEYTON"she screamed. Before she could say anything else, we were all in the ocean, drifting over waves. "You really didn't have to do that pey"Sabrina said. "Like either of you were going to get in the water" I said. "Yeah all you do is lay in the sun" Corey said. "Yeah it's called tanning" Rowan and Sabrina said in unison. Sabrina dove under the water, finding really beautiful shells while Rowan found sand dollars and Corey got his camera, taking pictures. After that, me and Corey chased Sabrina and Rowan around the beach and in the water.

Sabrina pov
I had just put another shell in my bag when I noticed that Bradley had texted me. I picked up my phone and started
To read it. Sabrina, I really feel like a jerk, saying this over a text message, but I feel If I said this in person, Peyton would knock me to the ground. I feel like we just aren't as great as we used to be, I think we should break up. My heart sank and when I was finished reading, I knew I was going to cry. As quick as I could, I told Corey I was taking a walk, and luckily Peyton was in the water so I wouldn't have to tell him and he wouldn't be suspicious. I quickly made my way up the trail as tears started streaming down my face. I saw and empty bench on the side so I sat down, being shaded by all the trees around. That's when I felt warmth next to me and arms going around my body. I looked up to see Peyton looking concerned. "Sabrina what's wrong"he said, hugging me. "Nothing, in fine"I answered, trying to wipe my tears away. "That's obviously not true, since the fact that you've been crying"he said. "I really don't want to talk about it"I said. "Why"? He answered. "Because your gonna freak out and get all defensive about it and I don't want you to"I said. "If you tell me, I'll try my best not to" he said. "Fine, the truth is, Bradley broke up with me"I said while wiping my eyes. Peyton had a look of anger, then disgust, then concern. He looked at me as tears streamed down my face. He wiped them away and kissed my forehead. We hugged, sitting on the bench for a while and I never wanted to leave.
Peyton's pov
We walked back down the beach to Corey and Rowan just as the sun started to set. I looked down seeing that we were holding hands, i smiled then we reached where they we sitting, while discussing where we could be. I looked at Sabrina and smirked, knowing we were thinking the same thing. Corey and Rowan sat facing the ocean, with their backs to us. With our hands still intertwined, I took my free hand as did Sabrina, and we quickly threw our free hand at them. With my hand hitting Corey's back and Sabrina's hitting Rowan, we screamed boo at the top of our lungs in unison, causing them to jump in the air. We stood there laughing really hard as Corey and Rowan looked mad of 3 seconds before laughing along with us. "You nearly gave me a heart attack"!! Rowan stated. "That's when Corey looked and our hands, still together, and gave my one of our secret codes that we use with facial expressions. It was like, "you and Sabrina huh😏. I looked back giving him the you know it's not gonna happen face. But then when I thought about it, Sabrina be broken up with Bradley means we can spend a lot more time together. But I don't think she'll ever like me in a boyfriend way.
Sabrina's pov
Me and Peyton still held hands the rest of the time at the beach, neither of us letting go. Someone could see us, but I really don't care. (When I typed that, I could just hear Demi lavato singing it😂) while Corey and Rowan sat in the sand talking, Peyton led me up this trail. We made it to a small cliffs edge, sitting over the water. It gave a beautiful view on the sun setting over the ocean. I sat closely next to Peyton, he had his arm wrapped around waist. Soon enough, we had laid back on the blanket, looking up the moon and stars, his arms still around me and our hands intertwined. Soon enough, I drifted off to sleep.
Rowan's pov
"Corey, they've been up there a while, should we go see if they are ready to go back home"? I said. "Sabrina probably passed out" he said as he laughed. We grabbed our bags, running up the trail until we made it to the top. I could see Peyton and Sabrina dead asleep, cutely cuddling. "Awww, should we wake them"? I said. "Yeah, but only Peyton, Sabrina's had a long day, with the breakup and all" he replied. "I think she'll be ok" I said smiling at them. Corey went over and tapped on Peyton. "Peyton, come on we gotta go home" Corey said, quietly waking him up. "Ok" he said, not letting go of Sabrina. He stood up, still holing onto her and made his way down the trail.
Peyton's pov
I climbed into the car, carefully putting Sabrina in the backseat, covering her with a blanket, and drove home. When we got to my house, I carried her inside and went upstairs. I put her in one of my t shits cause she only had a bathing suit on and then went to bed.
