How many times a day is it recommended to wash your hands? Fifteen (15) I'd say seems a safe number.
5:02 a.m. Thursday morning.
Frank's head rested calmly against his right hands, a cigarette dangling precariously close to his very flammable jacket. He watched the world outside of his window move slowly, the kind of slow that couldn't be created through technology by use of "Slo-mo" or any other type of program used to make a situation more dramatic, the kind that whispered of people who have just woken up and are sluggishly moving their way towards the new day. He leaned slightly out of his window, just enough to feel the cool morning breeze, wondering about the lives of those all around him.
He took a long, slow drag from his cigarette before putting it out and carefully setting it in his ashtray, placed conveniently right beside the window, and stood up to prepare for his classes.

Gerard rubbed his eyelids in slow circles, his lack of sleep showing through his unmistakably dark under eye circles. He placed his sketchbook next to him and stood up, carefully walking into the kitchen so as not to wake his brother Mikey or his mother, Donna. Gerard quickly put on a pot of coffee and stood by the counter, not so patiently awaiting his coffee.
His eyes slowly trailed to the dining table, where the forms for his enlistment sat, giving him the slightest hint of a smile. He was really doing it, he was really going to join the Army. Gerard glanced at the clock a moment, then, with a sudden jolt of realization, opened the farthest cabinet to his left and pulled out the bottle of pills that read "Gerard A Way", examining the contents. He had to take the rest of this bottle before basic training, it looked as though there was just enough to last until then. He certainly was not going to take his 'crazy pills' with him, he would NOT be getting Section 8'd because he has a bit of a struggle upstairs. He popped the small, ugly pill in his mouth and took it quickly, not wanting it to leave a taste.
With the coffee pot now full, he poured a fairly large mug of coffee and headed back off to his room to continue his sketch.
