Before we met up with my family, I read Jacob's mind to see exactly what happened between him and the pack. I got angry at what Sam and the others were saying but was thankful that Seth and even Embry weren't thinking mean things. Now its just Jacob, Seth, Leah and I. A small pack but we pack a big punch. I wanted to flirt with Jacob about being Alpha now but now's not the time...
Jake and I met up with my family in the living room to discuss the news.

"Sam's lost the element of surprise, and he doesn't want to take you on outnumbered, so he's not gonna come at you head on. He's got the place surrounded and he'll wait for his opportunity." Jacob informed them.
"We won't get through without a fight." Emmett stated.
"No fights. We won't be the ones to break the treaty." Dad issued.
"The treaty is void. At least in Sam's mind." Jacob remarked.
"Not in ours."Mom replied.
"Carlisle, no ones hunted for weeks." Emmett stated.
"We'll make do." Mom told him, making him along with Jasper slump down.
I felt bad because although I need blood too, I can still suffice with human food. Since I lied about that family hunting trip a week ago, my family is basically starving. Their black eyes showing it. Mine will probably fade to grey soon too.
"You've done us a great service Jacob. Thank you." Dad thanked Jacob, he nodded.
Nightfall came and I was with Jacob and Leah out by the river. Seth was resting by a near by tree. We were trying to hear if the others were around.
Leah suddenly approached us, standing a few feet away, also looking out to the distance.

"I know that they're out there somewhere, but I can't hear them anymore. Its so quiet." Jacob announced quietly. I held his hand and rested my head on his arm, feeling his warmth.
