The next morning I remember very well actually; I took a shower to wash away the pain that seemed to stain my body, brushed  my teeth and put some clothes on to head down stairs. Seems like thats all I ever did on my days off from school since I had no friends to entertain me which is another reason why I spent most of my time in my own little world isolated from everyone else. As I was coming down the stairs I noticed a boy sitting on the couch in the living room. He had black hair, pale skin but what stood out was his blue eyes that looked like they held the ocean in them but his demeanor seemed to be cold and secretive; I was quite taken by him if i was being honest. "Um hey" he spoke up pulling me out of my thoughts as I regained focus I replied with a simple "Hi." Before we could continue my dad walked in and gave us an expression I couldn't read. Then my dad broke the silence " Well Kaius I've seen you met Priya my daughter and Priya this is Kaius; this is the boy who will be staying with us for a while." I had given him a fainted look and headed to the kitchen for some breakfast. I had fixed myself a bowl of cereal and sat at the table. What a beautiful Sunday it was. Few minutes later kaius walks in and sits opposite from me at the table as I was finishing up my cereal; I felt Kaius eyes piercing me so I looked up to find him starring at me with those mysterious blue eyes. "What" I snapped he only replies with a head shake implying nothing was wrong then my dad came in and announced that he had errands to run and that we should get to know each other in his absence although I wasn't going to engage in conversation with a complete stranger I didn't debate his wishes. My dad soon left and it was just me and kaius. He started to speak up "So how old are you" God I remember his tone so vague. "18" I said just as coldly. "Me too" he said in a less spiteful tone. I knew I shouldn't have pried but I couldn't  help myself then I blurted out before I could catch myself "why are u here?" And it seemed as if his attitude turned back into an inhuman expression; it was in that moment that I had regret my question damn it why did I always have to pry?! "Family issues" he said while getting up and heading out of the kitchen. "Where are u going" I yelled as I saw him already half way into the living room heading upstairs; "My room" he yelled  sounding aggravated with my second question. I knew I had started off on the wrong foot with Kaius and if my dad found out I would be in trouble. Of course I had to fix it.
