I'm meeting the love of my life today. My best friend and I are going to see Shawn in concert and she got me VIP tickets. Having VIP means you get to go to sound check, meet Shawn, and watch the concert. Of course I'm excited but my nerves are killing me. What if I cry and make a fool of myself? What if he hates me? What if I sweat all my makeup off? What if the pose we do isn't good? What if...

"Y/N, are you almost ready?!" my best friend asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? Oh yeah I just need to set my makeup and I'll be ready," I told her.

"Good we need to leave soon," she informs me. I spritz the setting spray all over my face and grab my bag, phone, and my keys.

*At the venue*
During the soundcheck, Shawn looked at us 3 times. I died every time. Now it's time for the meet and greet. I ran to the line with Y/F/N to get a good spot. About 10 minutes later, it was my turn. I was shaking and tears were forming in my eyes. I choked back my tears and walked up to Shawn with my arms open. He immediately embraced me and my arms wrapped around his neck. He lifted me up and I latched my legs around his waist. I've waited for this moment for too long. He held me in his arms for what seemed like forever. Eventually, he set me down and we took our picture.

"Can I get a selfie before I go?" I asked him.

"Of course sweetie," he said, grabbing my phone, kissing my cheek, and taking the selfie. I gave him one last hug until security yelled at me to go. As soon as I walked away from him, tears fled out from my eyes. I finally met the love of my life. Y/F/N wiped my tears and lead me to the bathroom. I quickly touched up my face and calmed myself down. After I was cooled off, we went to our seats and waited for the concert to start.

*After the Concert*
This was the BEST night of my entire life. James was amazing, Shawn was amazing, everything was perfect. We met new friends and I found out that the selfie that Shawn took of us was sent to him on snapchat and he SCREENSHOTTED IT! Shawn freaking Mendes SCREENSHOTTED OUR SELFIE! I actually died when I found that out. I couldn't ask for a better night than tonight.
