ruin ; awashima seri

"it's unfair."

"congratulations, you two! wish you a happy future!" everyone congratulated them while give them lots of presents.

they smiled happily while receiving those presents. they hold each other arms and smile sweetly at each other. while on the other side, a certain woman looks at them painfully while holding her tears.

"seri-chan, you're here! come, let's take a photo," the bride hold the woman's hand and smile softly at her.

"uhh, yeah. let's take a photo together..." seri looks at the bride and they take a photo together.

"hey [first name], i wish you a happy future with [groom's name]," seri puts her hand on her shoulder, while [first name] laugh cutely.

seri's heart starts to ache. seeing her lovely bestfriend gets married breaks her heart so much. she wishes that her bestfriend will always stay together with her forever. it isn't because she loves [first name]. it's because [groom's name] is seri's long crush.

she has like [groom's name] more longer than [first name] does. but, [first name] is a cheerful and easy going girl, so [groom's name] fall in love with her. and, seri is too scared to confess so [first name] is a step ahead of her.

"hic, i'm so stupid..." seri murmurs to herself while taking another sip of her drink.

"what's wrong, seri-chan? you look really ugly now," kusanagi looks at seri while wiping his beloved glasses. she shook her head and tell kusanagi everything.

kusanagi pats her back and smile. he told her that everything is gonna be fine. but, seri isn't happy at all. so she decided to take an action. even if she has to break her friendship with [first name].

you are sitting in a small cafe that your husband runs. you open your laptop and start typing, while your husband is serving the costumers.

suddenly, your phone ring and you see seri's name. smiling happily, you answer the call.

"seri-chan! where were you at the party? you suddenly vanish like that!"

"sorry, [first name]. i wasn't feeling well, so i went home earlier." you chuckle and answer her again.

"it's okay! your health is number one, seri-chan. afterall, you have to serve munakata, right? it wouldn't be good if you got sick suddenly." your husband looks at you and smile. he likes everything about you and glad that he's able to marry you.

"well, i was wondering..."

"hmm? what's wrong, seri-chan?"

"can you and [groom's name] come to scepter 4 right now? i need to tell you something important..." you smile and tell her that you're on your way.

"let's go, [groom's name]. seri-chan is waiting for us." he nods and start to walk beside you.

seri looks at window and see both of you. she smirks as her plan is going really well.

"seri-chan!" you look at her, but suddenly you gasp.

the room was full of your photos, but there are lot of  bad writing in the photos. such as, stupid, ugly, whore, etc. your husband looks at seri with a disgust face. he hates things like this and was going to drag you out. he had a hunch that seri was a betrayer and he was right.

"[groom's name], wait, i want to talk to [first name. because, there's something i need to tell her." you nod at him. he stood quietly and let you go.

"seri-chan, what are you trying to do? are you trying to take my husband away?" tears started to fall from your eyes as she smiles.

"yes."

her answer broke your heart. you thought that she was your bestfriend. turns out, she just another player. another fake friend.

"why?" you fell to the ground and your husband quickly ran to you.

"why? you little naive girl... IT'S BECAUSE I LOVE HIM!" her statement shook you. you couldn't believe that your best friend, well ex - best friend was in love with your husband.

"and you know what? i hate the fact you're married to him! maybe i was stupid to not make any move, but he was mine from the beginning, [first name]! mine!" your husband pick you up in a bridal style and look seri with hatred.

"awashima, you're the worst. i couldn't believe that this is your true self. i hate it." hearing his words, seri fell in shock.

both of you left and seri was sitting on the ground. tears started to fall from her eyes. she just realised that she has ruin her friendship with [first name], her love life, her everything.

now, two person whom means so much to seri have gone. and it's all her fault. she was in agony. she cried loudly while regretting what have she done.

but what can she do? now it's just another bad past.

maybe all of you were wondering what happen to them afterwards. well, [first name] and [groom's name] lived happily and were blesses with two kids, while seri?

who knows?

maybe now she's still living in regret.
