When the monster passed by the world,  I stop for a second. Then I see my best friend Lionblaze liying on the floor,  his mangled body not moving, but his chest pumping up and down. I quickly I jump on to the funder path and drag his body back to camp. Tears drop down my face. His mate green pool sees him and she buries her face in his black fur. My brother Nightstrip comes over.
"Are you ok?"
"No I'm not." I say and go to the warrior den. I am about to settle down when Moonstar calls every one to the high rock, to morn my best friend Lionblaze. Moonstar tells the clan who the next deputy will be, me Blackfoot!
"I can't believe it!" I Say to night strip every one chants my name Blackfoot Blackfoot!! So I go to moonstars den and say what I should do as deputy. He tells me that I should first take out a hunting patrol. I nod in respect, and run out of camp shouting the following names. "Longstrip Greenpelt Willowleaf, come with me." As I reaching the thunder path I can see traces of cat blood on the floor. All of you stop and have a moments silence. We end up near shadowclan area when we noticed that longstrip was missing , but then a shadowclan patrol came lurking out of the shadows. We unsheathe our claws and stood our ground. Then longstrip jumped in to battle. We all did the same. When it was me and a black tom face to face. I didn't run I lept in to battle. I bite his shoulder and cuft him around the face I feel him trying to push up I jump of him and jump back on him he rolls away and back in to shadow clan territory we regroup and walk back to camp but we are missing longstrip and we finally get back to camp we are stagring all of us are in a horrible way Moonstar runs up to us are you ok  where's longstrip I don't now come in to my den ok I say what happened we were attack by shadow clan Longstrip got killed by who I don't now a cold gush of wind rushed by my ear we go out the den and go to the fresh kill pile I pick up a rabbit and sit down. I eat it next to Nightstrip in the warrior den.
"congrats" he said "thanks" I say
"what happened with shadow clan we got ambushed, is Longstrip dead"
"yes I think so. Did you get wounded?" "not badly"
"good." He said.  I go to bed but I have a dream, it's a ginger Tom with green eyes. Could it be firestar? he said "be careful were you step" and it ends. I awake in the middle of the night. the camp is empty. the words are so quick I barely catch them. sky clan will find you I here Nightstrip saying the dawn is ready for you I bolt up right and race in to the middle of the clearing standing there are Nightstrip Willowleaf brackenbush and runningnose we set of and go to sunning rocks we all catch a muse a vole and a rabbit we are going back to camp when a cat I spit split pelt hello he said with venom get out of thunder clan tertiary he despaired in a flash strange Nightstrip sed I now we come back and as we do Moonstar calls out may all cats old enough to catch there own pray gather at the high rock we have a new apprentice brownpoor and his mentor will be Blackfoot I hope you will pass all your loyalty and bravery I touch nose with him you should rest but we are hunting tomorrow ok he sed and walked in to the apprentice den in the morning it was cold my fur shot up brownpoor walked out the den shivering let's go ok I'm a shadowclan warrior I say your are you I've pined you how do you get out i pushup yes! Lest go to the borders ok what can you smell a yucky smell that's wind clan and I think it's cold river clan yes! I say I'll tell Moonstar the smile is undaunted we walk back to camp and catch some food we plonk it on the fresh kill pile
