Sebastian knocked on the door of her apartment. He stood for minutes, waiting for her to open it. He could hear her breathing on the other side of the wood.
"Juni, quit acting like a baby and open the door. You've been purposely avoiding me and I know you probably feel awkward about my feelings, but I don't. I'm glad I got it off my chest, I-"
The door flew open and her lips were pressed against his. The kiss was short-lived but sweet. She backed away with a wide grin.
"I had to take a few days to figure some things out, but I know that I for-sure have feelings for you too," she beamed.
"That makes what I was about to say irrelevant," he grinned. He stepped forward and reconnected their lips, backed into her apartment, and kicked the door shut behind him.
It was a beautiful end to a friendship, and a beautiful beginning of something more
