~Prologue~.
Hello, my name is Neve. I have a very special talent and I would like to tell you all the story of my life. Now all my memories are jumbled up and crazy inside my head. I need to start from the beginning and go from there, ok the first thing I remember...
~20 years earlier~
"Mommy, I want that bear!" The little girl with the blonde curls and storm gray eyes said as she tugged on the skirt tail if the tall lady with the same bouncy blonde curls and storm gray eyes. "We can't afford that right now sweetie, we can only afford the necessities." The lady looked down at the girl. A few moments lasted the little girl asked, "Mommy, what's a necessity?" "A necessity is something that is needed, such as: food, water, clothes, shelter. Those kinds if things." She said looking down at her daughter. The little girl nodded her head and looked down keeping quiet the rest of the shopping trip.
"Mommy! I forgot my toy back in one of those isles!" the little girl said looking at her mother. "Ok hun, I'm going to trust you to go get your toy then come back." she said bending down to be eye level with her. The little girl nodded and ran to the toy isle, having lied to her mother she felt guilty but she wanted that bear.
She grabbed the bear and walked over to this kindly old lady. "Miss, will you please buy me this bear. My mommy doesn't have enough money to buy it for me and I have barely any toys." She looked the old lady in the eyes. "Why yes dear, I will buy this stuffed little bear for you." She said her eyes glassy.
The kindly old lady bought the little stuffed bear for the girl, she spoke as if she was in a trance. Paying, speaking, even walking like a robot or somebody under a trance. Once the cashier handed the little girl the bear she smiled at the kindly old lady and her eyes went back to normal. She smiled at the cashier and walked away a little confused.
The little girl ran to her mother and smiled holding the toy and the little stuffed bear. "Neve! did you steal this bear?" her mother looked at her furious and worried. "No mommy. A kindly old lady bought it for me." the little girl smiled and looked down at her mother cuddling the bear and playing with the bear's fur. The mother smiled at how her daughter was so happy. "Hunny, how did you get the old lady to buy it for you?" her mother looked at he confused. "I just asked her kindly mommy." The little girl met her mother's eyes. Her mother knew she wasn't lying but their was something odd in the way she smiled, and in the way she said she asked nicely.
"I just thought in my head please buy this for me kindly old lady, while I said excuse me miss will you please buy me me this stuffed bear, my mommy said I don't have enough money to buy it and I had barely any toys." she was playing with the stuffed bear the whole time she was explaining. She looked up at her mom after she was done explaining.
Her mother smiled but inside she was worried and scared. 'Does that mean she is like her father?' her mother thought I herself. I have to take her to Nathan. He has to know about this. She hurried her daughter out of the store with the bags in hand and put the stuff in the trunk. "Mommy why are we hurrying so much?" the little girl looked at her mom confused. "We need to be somewhere sweetie." she smiled trying I hide her worry. She hurried up and closed the door and got into the driver's seat. She drove as fast as the speed limit would let her to the science lab where Nathan worked.
