Destiny

I walked out of class as the hot Georgia air hit me. Groaning I made my way over to my bmw. Thank god this is my last year in college after this maybe me and corahn can move somewhere more subtle. I opened up the car putting my books in the back seat and got in turning on the ignition. worst behavior by Drake filled the speakers of the car.

I drove to me and Corahns apartment that was only 15 minutes away from the university. I then parked my car in its reserved spot and got out getting my books, then walking into the lobby. "Good morning Mrs. Brown" Sandra the receptionist said. I rolled my eyes this bitch stay doing the most, She always played with me calling me Mrs. Brown because me and corahn aren't married yet. Yes you read correct after 4 years I'm still engaged to him, I don't know what the hells stopping us to be honest, well more corahn.

"bitch your clearly trying to get sliced" I said and she laughed.

"you know I'm just playing with you boo, but here's your mail, and corahn told me to tell you he had the house cleaned by one of our staff maids" she said and I groaned as I took the mail.

"I hate when he does that" I said and she squinted her eyes at me.

"Destiny you live in a penthouse in the most luxurious apartment building in Atlanta Georgia, your fiancé is working for the richest man in America and soon is going to take his place and may I remind you your only 20 in your senior year of college, and your ass worried about him getting a maid to clean the house, bitch you on some else." she said and I sighed.

I rather do everything myself, sometimes having things cleaned after you is smothering I rather just do everything myself. "well its not always about the money Sandra" I said and she shook her head at me.

"girls would kill to be in your spot right now" she said and I rolled my eyes chuckling.

"ill talk to you later alright" With that I began to walk toward the elevator.

"see yo ungrateful ass later" she said laughing and I couldn't help but laugh too as I got in the elevator that took you to our penthouse.

As I got to my apartment door I opened it with my keys. Walking in I put my books on the couch and walked to the kitchen putting the mail on the counter. I walked over to my house phone clicking the voicemail button. I then walked to the fridge and began to look for what I should cook Corahn when he came back from work.

"hey hunny, its mom how are you, well i just wanted to call and congratulate you on starting your senior year in college today. I always knew you could become whatever you set your mind to hunny. We all so proud of you and corahn we really are. Anyways I just wanted to know If I could come down this weekend call me and we'll figure it out." she said and I smiled wen I heard a little voice in the background "mommy can I twalk to dwessy" my 5 year old sisters voice said and I smiled. "sure hunny come here" my mother said. "Hiii dwessy I miss you and uncle corahn a lot I cant wait to see you gwuys again" she said and I laughed as I remembered how we had to make her call corahn her uncle because she never understood how I was married to corahn if he was her brother by law. "Okay well just remember call me back, I love you destiny" my mothers voice said before the line stopped moving on to the next one.

I exited the fridge deciding to make some chicken Alfredo. "bitchhhhhhh when you get out of school call me" kitty's voice screamed through the operator and I smiled. Kitty lived down here with me in Georgia she went to the same university and everything she just had a different major than me she was becoming a business woman so that she could open her own store and I was becoming a home seller.

I put the pasta in the boiling water and leaned back against the counter I rubbed my hands and thought about...well life. Ever since what happened back when I was 17 corahns been there and I literally mean it, Corahn ended up staying in California for his freshman year of college because he didn't want to leave me in cali all alone so he just decided to go to Ucla. He then waited for me to finish high school and then we both moved down to Georgia and went to school. Corahn finished school in his softmore year and ever since then shits got real corahn got an amazing job and it brought us to where we are now.
