Chapter 1

Early one morning as the sky was still dark with twinkling little stars, a man appear out of the dimness of the night. The man walked heavily through the snow. Piles of snow cover the ground where the man tried walking through. He hurried along with a small package tuck under his arm.

With pink rosy cheeks due to the cold, the man was huge. He wore an animal skin coat to keep his massive body from the cold weather. Thick boots support his feet. He wore an animal skin hat and under that hat was long black hair with matching beard.

Snow furies suddenly fall covering the man. The dense woods is a scary place with bears, coyotes and large tusk beast. Seemingly, the man walked with no care in the world. He had a smile on he's face. Wherever he may go was important to him. The package tucked under his arm seems important as well. Consisting of brown wrapping paper, the present was important of the eye of the holder. The package was worth the haste in which the man was in.

The man kept on with no care in the world even with untamed beast lurking in the dark woodlands.

Freezing has he was, the man shuddered and wrapped himself even tighter in his animal skin coat. Furies of snow continued to cover the freezing man though he still made his way through he's own path. He shook and quiver still hanging on to what's dear to him.

Outside of the mans path was playful hairs. Hoping and jumping, the hairs plays tag with another in the blizzard of winter. Their coats consisted of whites and grays with pink little noses. They made their own little foot prints in the snow with their playfulness.

Not looking at the playful scene of hairs, the man continued in his quest like. Startle, the hares saw the man and retreat behind a fallen dead log. An owl watches the scene as it screeches and taking everything in.

More and more furies of snow fall covering the freezing massive man. Bunch of snow fell from a low limb landing on the mans head. Ignoring the outside world, the man marches on. He continues with his own worries to his destination.

A strong man as he was pushed against the heavy falling snow. He's pink plump lips smiled. Nothing could stop this happy man has he was.

Peeping from their hidden spot, the hares watch the man wondering about him. As curious like a kitten, they watch the massive man as he marched on. The night air slowly stop with the wind but the snow kept falling.

Slowly the night turned lighter bringing the sun from its sleep. Creatures of the woodlands howl, screeched, and chirped welcoming the morning day.

In view of the man we see a small wooden cabin. Small as it was, the cabin was hidden among the thick woods. Bellows of smoke came from the bricked made chimney.

Opening the door to the wooden small cabin was a one big room, in which, two nicely made beds set. One bed was occupied close enough to the warm blazing fire.

Snoozing could be heard. Soft like snoozing came from one of the beds near the blazing fire. The man walked closely to the occupied bed and smiled dearly. Clearly, we see a small round face sticking from underneath the quilted made quilt of splashes of blues.
