Max'so POV.
It was the first day of school and I got on my outfit. I looked like i could be a model, at least that's what people told me. i walked downstairs to grab some breakfast then i bumped into my brother.
"Hey sis." he smiled at me and waved.
i growled and rolled my eyes. i stood up and fixed my shirt and walked into the kitchen.
"Hello my little mouse!" my mother squealed as i walked into the kitchen.
"Mom." was all i said.
"Come on mouse. you need to be nicer sweet pea!" she said and handed me a peace of wheat toast.
i got up and walked to grab my book bag. i walked outside and the sun shone in my face, i didn't like it one bit.
after what felt like forever of walking the burning hot i reached the school. i looked for my friend and soon spotted her and walked over to her.
"Hey Hannah." i said quietly and she spun around.
"Mouse!" she squealed and hugged me.
"Don't call me that banana." i said coldly.
"Fine." she pouted and lowered her ears.
then a boy with blonde hair walked up behind Hannah and smiled at me. i looked at him confused.
"You must be Max." he smiled.
"Yeah. Who are you." i was getting annoyed.
"I'm Gage." he said in a flirty voice and winked at me.
in my head i was blushing but on the outside i held it together and didn't show it.
"Don't flirt with me." i said harshly.
i swear for a second i could see shock on his face then it turned into a smirk.
"Why not baby~?" he said and put his arm around me.
"Because I," i blushed but moved his arm off me. "Don't like being touched." i said coldly.

"Well." Hannah walked between us and started. "Its Halloween soon Max. Who you going with?" she beamed at me.
"no. one" i said coldly.
"Well Boo." Hannah said. then she smiled. "Wanna go with me and Gage?!" she squealed.
i looked at her then to Gage and back to her. "Fine." i said blankly.
