Y/N's POV         

"Happy Birthday Y/N!!" The guild yells.

Today is my birthday and I'm turning 13 finally!

"Arigato Minna-san!" I say smiling. Today is the day I confess my feelings to Romeo. I've always thought that Wendy-chan liked Romeo but Wendy assured me that she doesn't. 

I walk over to Wendy and Carla and smile. 

"Oh, Y/N-chan! Happy Birthday!" Wendy says smiling.

"Arigato Wendy-chan. Argh I'm so nervous!" I say clutching my head in nervousness.

"You'll do great Y/N! I'm pretty sure Romeo likes you too!" 

"Really?"

"Yeah! What's there not to like about you? You're pretty, smart, strong, and kind! I'm pretty sure Romeo feels the same way!" Wendy says smiling brightly.

"Ah, thanks Wendy! Thanks for being a great friend!" I say.

"No problem!"

"Wendy, I also think you're pretty, smart, strong and kind!" I say.

"Eh?! I'm not sure about all of that."

"No, I really think so! You've been really supportive of me in trying to confess, and I'm really grateful!" 

"Ah, arigato Y/N-chan! Tell me how it goes!"

"I will!" I say running off.

Romeo's POV

"Natsu-nii. Do you really think she'll like this?" I ask holding a bouquet of flowers.

"Of course! What girl doesn't like flowers?" Natsu-nii laughs.

"But um they're joke flowers..." I say.

"Well who doesn't like a nice prank?" 

"Uh, girls." I say.

"Romeo don't worry Y/N will love it!" Natsu says. 

"Um I'll be right back Natsu-nii." I say running back to the flower store.

-Time Skip-

I walk down the streets of Magnolia after returning those joke flowers. Reminder: Don't trust Natsu-nii to help buy gifts for girls. I bought better flowers that are Y/N's F/C. I hope she likes them. I'm lost in my thoughts when I suddenly bump into someone. 

"Ow..."

I rub my head slightly and look up to see who I'd bumped into. It was Y/N.

"Y/N! Are you ok?" I ask standing up quickly holding my hand out.

"Oh Romeo-kun! Yeah I'm fine!" Y/N says smiling taking my hand. 

"Sorry for bumping into you." I say.

"No it's fine." Y/N says blushing.

We stand there in silence and awkwardness until I remember something.

"Oh that reminds me... these are for you." I say holding the flowers out. 

"T-these are for me?" Y/N asks, her eyes widening in surprise.

"Yeah...I um saw them today and thought of you." I say blushing furiously.

"Oh, thank you Romeo. How'd you know my favorite color?" 

"Wild guess." I say lying.

"Thank you I love them." Y/N says with a bright smile on her face.

-Back at the Guild-

Y/N's POV

"Have you confessed yet?" Wendy asks excitedly.

"No not yet. I'm planning on doing it later." I say. 

"Doing what?" Romeo asks walking up behind us.

"Hmm? O-oh nothing. Hey look the cake's here!" I say pointing over Romeo's shoulder.

He turns around and I run off to go cut the cake.

-Time Skip to Cake Eating!-

"This is really good cake! I want another slice!" Natsu yells from across the guild.

"No! It's if only Y/N allows you!" Erza says.

"But you're eating another slice already!" Lucy says.

"Y/N allowed me to eat another slice of this delicious yummy strawberry cake." Erza states.

Natsu tries to go for another slice but doesn't get very far because Erza takes out her sword.

"I said, if Y/N allows you." 

"A-aye!" Natsu says shrinking back to his seat.

Romeo and I laugh at the sight.

"Hehe, that's Erza-nee for you." Romeo says.

I nod in agreement and finish the last bites of cake.

Romeo stares at me for a while until I ask, "Eh, Romeo are you ok?"

"Huh? Oh, sorry. There's something on your face." Romeo says.

"Eh?! What? Where?" I ask frantically. 

"It's ok I got it." 

I assumed Romeo was getting a napkin but instead he leans in and kisses me.

Romeo pulls away and says, "Happy Birthday Y/N."

My face is as red as Erza's hair. "W-why'd you do that?"

"Because I like you." Romeo answers.

"Y-you like me?"

"Yeah...is it that much of a surprise?" 

"N-no! I like you too Romeo!" I say. 

"Great! That means I can do this again." Romeo leans in once more and kisses me.

Best. Birthday. Ever.

Another chapter done! I'm sorry that I haven't updated in sooooo long! It's just homework since school started which is backing me up on getting requests done. I'll try to fulfill all of your requests as soon as I can! I hope it's ok that I did two requests in one story. Another chapter will be up in a week or so.
