So it turned out that Casey had all the same classes with me. We sat together in the back of the room for Spanish. Senora Maria wasn't present so we had a free period. Casey and I used it as a way to get to know each other. So it turned out he moved from New York City to New Jersey when his dad met my mom. His mother had died giving birth to him, so he didn't remember her, just things that his dad told him about her like the fact that they had the same black curly hair and that she was very beautiful.

"My dad always told me that she always smelled like vanilla, and that she was a painter. He has a closet filled with her art work, and he still has some of her art supplies. Sometimes when he wants to connect with her, he goes in the attic and paint. He always said painting was the only that they had in common but it was enough to make him fall head over heels for her," Casey said, playing with a piece of loose thread that was on his shirt.

"She sounded wonderful. I'd love to see some of her art work sometime," I said.

"That's actually what we are doing tonight."

"Oh, well thank you for sharing that with me."

"No problem, thanks for listening," he said.

The bell rang signaling the end of another period. We gathered our stuff and walked together to health. I walked to the back of the class to save two seats while Casey introduced himself to Mrs. Cast. Skandar walked in and came to the back, taking one of the seats that I reserved for Casey.

"Hey beautiful," he said plopping down in the seat. I felt my cheeks becoming warmer so I let my hair fall in front of my face.

"I thought you'd get used to me calling you that now. I've been calling you that for 12 years," he chuckled. I threw my pen at him, but he caught it and threw it back at me. He earned a dirty look from me, but he only laughed.

Casey made his way to the back and took a seat. He had a huge smile on his face. It was kinda creepy but also cute.

"Why are you smiling like such a creep," I asked.

"Cause I just got out of doing that stupid baby simulator project."

"Lucky," Skandar muttered.

"Oh, so let me introduce you two," I began. "Skandar, this is Casey, and Casey this is my bestfriend Skandar."

They did a stupid hand shake thing and started talking about how lame the project was. Boys. Hate them but can't live without them. I for one loved the project. I looked forward to doing it since I was younger and my older sister Starr got to do it. She'd let me hold it, but only when she was around. She was living in New York City because she was a super model now. Every year since she moved to the Big Apple I'd spend 3 weeks in the summer with her.

The bell rang signaling the begining of the period. Mrs. Cast got up from her desk and went to the front of the room.

"So class-" she began but was interrupted to Crispin's arrogant ass walking in with lip stick stains all over his cheek and neck. He fixed his crumbled shirt and took the last available seat which was in front of me.

"So as I was saying, I've finally got the partnering done. Since there are more boys than girls in this class, some groups will have 3 people in it. When you hear your partners name, get with them and think about what sex you want your baby to be, and the name of your baby. Then you will recieve your baby and sign a contract stating that you promise to do your duties of being  a parent. Let me begin...," she said getting a paper of her desk.

"James and Kayla.

Marni, Kevin and William.

Dayna and Ky.

Jessie, Bobby and Freddy.

Nelly, Jose, and Demetrius.

Skandar, Skye and Crispin."

Great, just freaking great man. Not only do I have to work with this whore, but I know he's gonna start with Skandar.

"So get together and Casey could you come here for a second," Mrs. Cast said. Casey got up and went to Mrs. Cast's desk. Crispin turned around.

"So should we get started or what?," he said with a cocky grin on his stupid face.

Oh how I wanted to smack it off so bad. Hopefully these 3 weeks will go by fast...
