Doctor's POV:
The emergency doors burst open and nurses started to scramble.
"Doctor Chavez!"
I rushed over and placed my hand on the nurse's shoulder. "What happened?"
"Three young men, mid twenties. One has multiple stab wounds and knife marks. One has a bullet in his right shoulder. And the last has one in his head."
"Jesus what happened?"
"I dunno. The only one responding is the one with a bullet in his shoulder."
"Alright get him up. I'll check stab wounds."
The nurse nodded and we began to walk off but I turned. "Hey, if Nathan shows up, let him in."
She turned. "Doctor, I can't do that."
"Please? He's good with these types of patients. Let him in, doctor's order."
She grinned and rolled her eyes. "Fine."
I ran down the hallway into the room where my new patient was. He had wild green hair. I rushed up next to him weaving between working nurses. There was one stab wound in his right shoulder and one on his left leg, a little above his knee. Multiple slash wounds on his face, chest, and stomach. I scanned the x's drawn in his chest. What in the fresh Hell happened?
A nurse began CPR to get his breathing even again. He was so close to dead. Even I wasn't sure if he'd make it.
