One theory i have is that once i was saying "pika" over and over and then i sneezed right after i said pika i made a sneeze like "chu".xD.like literally xDD and i said "hmmm maybe da guy who made pikachu wanted to name it pika and something else"xD so i mean maybe he was thinking for a name and ppl were waiting xD and he prob said "pika...." and he prob sneezed like "CHU!" xDDD so thats why "pikachu" is named pikachu xDD.
