Why were humans so cruel? Her thoughts slowly vanished, and the entrance to the Monster's territory was in sight.
2:35pm
Entrance of SnowdinYou slowly approched the wooden bridge that would lead you to the town of Snowdin, or a place like the original one.
The wind was cold, with each breath you took you could feel your throat go dry. Finally, you have reached the actual area where people lived. You walked past different buildings, heading towards your destination. Grillby's. A small bar where you would often spend your time. It was warm and cozy, and the people there were very nice to you.
2:37PM
Entrance of Grillby'sYou walked to the entrance, opening the door and walking in, your presence quickly acknowledged as others in the bar stood up and greeted you. A lazy skeleton at the bar ordered a drink for you. After you greeted everyone, you walked over to him.
"Hey Sans. How has your day been?" You asked, smiling, and taking a seat beside him. He pushed your drink towards you, you picked it up and inhaled the sweet scent of chocolate. Hot chocolate, the perfect drink at a time like this.
The skeleton gave a lazy grin, and closed his eyes. "Pretty good. Business is pretty busy, so I'm really tired." You blinked and laughed quietly. "When are you never tired?" Sans crossed his arms on the table and layed his head down. He turned his head to look at you. He winked.
"Where's Mr.Pyro?" You asked, your tone turning into a slightly annoyed one. Sans closed his eyes before replying,"He's in the back. You know, you should be more nice to him. Poor guy never did anything to ya."
You sighed, turning your chair away from Sans. "He's just weird, I don't get him. And he stares at me a lot, I can tell there's something about me that he doesn't like." You ran your hand through your hair. "I feel like he's judging me constantly."
You turned back around, and looked at Sans. His eyes were closed, and you could clearly tell that he was sleeping. You groaned when you started to hear him snore. A minute or so later, Grillby walked in behind the bar.
"Hello." He said, his voice deep and somewhat comforting.
You didn't reply.
How could you? You catch him looking at you all the time, and most of the time you can't tell what he's feeling. He has no lips, eyes, or nose even. Only those glasses on him gave him some sort of way to express himself. His flames as well, you noticed how on some days his flames were brighter or more dim.
About ten minutes passed and Sans was still asleep. You finished your drink, and you opened your mouth to ask for more. Minutes later, Grillby handed you the hot drink.
"So, how's school? Sans tells me that you really like to draw and read."
You blinked, looking up at the flame. You weren't sure what to say.
"I-" You stopped, and tried to use words to form sentences. "Yes, I really like drawing. I take art as my elective. I'm also good at math and history."
He hummed as he took a rag and started cleaning a cup. You continued, "Whenever I feel stressed, or depressed I come here. This place has a nice home feeling to it." That last sentence was a lie, you and him both knew it. He heard those things you said about him, his glasses lowered a bit. He seemed sad.
He set the cup down, along with the rag and he walked to the back. You watched him, taking a sip of your hot drink. You looked at your watch. You freaked out a bit and stoop up, leaving some change on the table and running out. Some said bye, but you were too busy rushing to say bye back.
3:04pm
HomeYou walked into your home, taking off your shoes and walking upstairs to your room. You had homework to do.
Your mother came home an hour later, she yelled out, "I'm home." And then started dinner.
Another hour passed and you were just sketching, you weren't sure exactly what you were drawing. Looked like a girl with wings or something.
There was a knock on your door. Your mother. "Hey, a friend of yours is here to see you!"
