Annabelle [Ellie] POV:

As I stared at the newspaper clipping in awe, I was mesmerized. I ran the browning, tattered edges between my fingers, I couldn't believe it. 'This is not possible, it can't be!' I thought to myself. 'Should I tell Travis..?' My logic won over my heart and I decided to wait until I did a bit more research on the subject. I decided to see what information I could gather from the text under the picture. It read..

"THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE GLORY: THE FIELD NURSES"

'So she was a field nurse.' I thought. Basically the article was explaining how much of a help the field nurses are, and how that sometimes goes unnoticed. Who the article was written by was unclear but the names of the the three, unsmiling nurses were. From left to right.. It read.. Amelia Eisenberg, Laura Milds, and Peggy Melle. 'Amelia.. Amelia Eisenberg is the name of my lookalike. Interesting..' I pondered how it could be possible for something like this to happen. 'If only I knew more about her, aside from her name.' I wondered aloud. 'If only..' I decided that I'd wait until after school, so I could go and try to dig up more information on this.

Travis POV:

As I read through some sad old books about the wars, my thoughts led to a happier topic, Ellie. I know she liked Chase and that we were best friends, but I wish that she thought of me as more. Ever since the day I met her I've liked her. She wasn't like any of the dumb girls who flirt and dress all skimpy to get my attention. She was just so down-to-earth. I sighed and looked at her. Ellie's eyes were wide open and it looked as if she'd seen a ghoust. 'What's up with her..?' I wondered in my head. I stood up, after I'd been sitting for what felt like ever, and stretched. I turned my head to the clock and checked the time.. 8 minutes until the end of the class. 'Elles, class ends soon.' I called out to her, earning a glare from the librarian. Ellie looked up, quickly tucking a piece of paper into a folder. That's odd, I thought. Suddenly the bell rang for our next class, Ellie quickly hugged me and was out the door. Probably to go see Violette. While I walked down the hall, I brainstormed how I could get Ellie to like me. Just then Abigail walked by me and winked. Hmm, she's not that bad looking, I might go for her. I heard that she liked me. That could make Elles jelous.. it could work. "Hey Abbey, wanna go out and get something to eat this weekend, maybe see a hockey game?" I asked. This could work it's fullproof, who wouldn't want to go out with me? Abbey replied with a simple 'Sure.' and walked away, while one of her friends handed me her number. 'She knew you would ask her out.' she winked and sauntered off behind Abbey. I seriously don't get girls. Especially those kinds of them. I shook my head and walked into class with Ellie on my mind.

So I finally wrote another chapter thanks to my lovely tablet & it's lovely word/document programs :) So I hope you like it. I'm very rusty as you know because I haven't written in awhile, but it's the best I could do :P I added a small twist, opened up a little about Travis & whatnot. But now I have tons and tons of ideas for future chapters and I have an idea how the story is going to play out in my mind. So yeah :P Leave me some love please :) It makes me want to write more!!
