Chapter VI: Tuesday to Wednesday: Akino Lu Tsunea

Diana's POV

I woke up, finding myself on the living room floor, along with my mom, na nasa saheg rin ng sala.

I won't even bother asking my mom kung anong nangyari kahapon. After all, past is past, let's move on.

My mom asked me, "Gusto mo na bang mag- almusal?" I just nodded my head. Pareho kaming tumayo at dumiretso sa kusina.

PAGDAAN NG DALAWANG MINUTO...

Tapos na magluto si Nay (short for Nanay). Alam na alam ko na masarap ang mga luto niya, because I've tasted every single one. If you've tasted my mom's breakfast dishes, you might think they're so good YOU'LL LICK THE PLATE CLEAN!

So, because of that, my dream ambition is to be A CHEF.

"Diana, nakahanda na yun almusal mo! MASARAP NA CRAB AND CORN SOUP," my mom shouted from the kitchen.

O, nakita niyo ba, fellow readers? She just says the name of her dish and it already SOUNDS good. Ano pa kaya kung titikman natin?

"Mmmmmm," I slurped some soup. "The crunchy crab bits, the sweet corn, along with the warm soup and soothing noodles? Wow! This is soooooooooooo extremely absolutely mega-ultra-giga-super-duper delicious," Sobrang fangirl-like ko when I ate more.

I finished the entire dish in less than 5 minutes. Not only because you really needed to finish food as fast as possible, but also and extremely also because my mom's dishes are effo deffo good.

Someone knocked at my door. I peeked out the window to get a closer look clearer. Mukhang hindi siya galing dito sa amin. Mayroon siyang yellow na buhok, maputi sya, blue eyes, and clean clothes. Mukhang anime- type character sya sa isa kong napanood na anime noong medyo bata pa ako. She looked so pretty. I let her in quickly.

"Hi ma'am. Please come in. Puwede ko bang makuha yun pangalan mo?"

The stranger replied,"Well yes. My name is Akino Lu Tsunea."

Wow, a real anime gal! Not only does she look like anime, even her name sounds like 100% made in China. Even though she looks like one I watched before, but not the same name, masaya pa rin ako na dito sya napunta sa amin."

I asked her, "Would you like anything, Ms. Lu Tsunea? Gusto nyo ba pong kumain? Malapit naman na po kaming kumain ng hapunan."

"No thank you. I've eaten already. Gusto ko lang sana makahanap ng tutulugan para ngayong gabi na ito."

Then, I remembered something, "Oh yes, Ms. Tsunea. Mayroon po kaming guest room sa taas. Doon na lang po kayo for the night."

"You can call me Akino. Just Akino. After all, we are both highschool- like when it comes to our ages."

"Well then, puwede na kayong umakyat sa guest room, Akino. I'll check on you pagkatapos po naming kumain ng dinner namin."

AFTER THE NIGHT, AT SA SUSUNOD NA ARAW...

Diana's POV (still)

I woke up to the feeling of something bouncing over and over on the bed.

"Diana, Diana!"

Noong nagising ako, I saw Akino bouncing nonstop on my bed. She was squealing so much!

"What's wrong, Akino? Mayroon bang problema?"

"Well, no. It's not a problem. I think you can consider it as a 'blessing'. There is a cute man standing outside your door."

*gasps* J-j-je-jer-Jerry! I'm the only one na puwedeng magpacute- cute sa kanya. Don't you dare, Akino. Don't you even dare steal my cutie boy from me! If you do, well well, you'll be really really REALLY sorry if you do.

I rushed down, leaving Akino upstairs. I opened the door, nakita ko si Jerry, tapos pinaalis ko rin agad. Buti na lang and I did it before Akino even got a glimpse of it habang bumababa sya ng hagdan.

Akino then suddenly asked me, "Diana, anong nangyari dito? Tell me."

What will I tell her? Na pinaalis ko si Jerry at hindi ko man lang kinausap? NO WAY, MY FELLOW VIEWERS! I would never do that. Akino might get mad at me. Really mad at me. She might even get so mad, baka iwanan nya ako for life, at ayoko ng ganoon.

"Oh nothing. Nothing at all. I just talked to Jerry, tapos may naalala daw syang gusto nyang gawin, kaya umalis rin agad,"

That was all I said. I kept going with the flow of my story, just saying random things to Akino, with my fingers crossed behind my back. Thankfully for me, she believed it the moment I said it. She just headed straight back upstairs papunta sa guest room.

Phew! That was a close call! I'd thank Akino's subconscious one more time for her being so believable if I had the chance.

Akino's POV (I had to add it in at the last moment because this chapter is about to finish anyways)

I just kept roaming around the room, looking for something to use, something to do, someone to be with.

"I wonder what Cutie-Boy was up to?"

This was the question I kept asking myself. This went on till the night fell.

Roaming around.
Sitting down to think.
Standing up.
Sitting again.
Asking myself questions.
Laying down.
Roaming around again.
Singing to myself.
Asking even more questions.
Sitting down.
Standing.
Asking.
Sitting.
Thinking.
Singing.
Laying.

Until, I did it to sleep. Wow, that was really super duper mega ultra extremely absolutely effo deffo long.

Diana's POV

I stayed awake in my bed for a few moments to think.

We now have school tomorrow. So, first, I have to apologize to Jerry. I'll do that after class. But, that means when I get home, Akino might ask me kung bakit natagalan ako sa pagbalik rather thanmy usual schedule. I might do the lies again, but it just doesn't feel right. Because Akino has also fell in love with Jerry at first sight, just like me. I want to stay with Jerry. Pero, ayaw kong malaman ni Akino, she might ditch me for thinking na mas importante pa si Jerry kaysa sa kanya, even though they're both my friends.

I slept and hoped everything tomorrow would be alright.
