Keith groaned.
Again he had no clue what exactly had happened. One moment he was looking at his own smirking face and in the next he felt like his inside had been turned outside anew and all he could do to escape this horrible feeling was to close his eyes. At least this time he landed somewhere comfortable instead of the floor, it nearly felt like he was laying in a warm bed, but that was impossible, was it? Why would Hell take him to a bed?
Keith slowly opened his eyes and tried to sit up, but remarked that wherever he was, he wasn't alone. He clearly felt an arm around his middle and looked at the woman who apparently laid naked next to him in bed. She had dark hair that nearly covered her whole back and rather pale skin, which was all Keith could see from his position. Usually he wouldn't have wasted a second thought on why a woman was in bed with him, but considering what he had been through in the last few hours, this surely couldn't be a good thing, especially not when he was back in his hotel room like nothing had happened at all. No strange visit, no trip through Hell and no tests. Nearly like everything that had been a very fucked up dream.
This was definitely not alright.
"Shit..." Keith mumbled, sitting up and in the process awaking the woman. She groaned and turned around, offering him a very nice view. His gaze automatically wandered to her breasts as she stretched and Keith felt his breath hitch. Her body was nice. Very nice and Keith nearly uttered shit again.
If this was the Lust test he was so doomed.
She turned to him and started to caress his chest. "So how was your night? Mine was fantastic," she said chuckling and Keith's eyes widened. He knew that voice just too well. Over her breathtaking body he had totally forgotten to look at her face.
"Persy?" he whispered in shook.
She sat up to look him directly into the face, only making his unwell feeling worse. It was definitely her and still she looked somewhat different, not as perfect anymore. Keith couldn't really name it, but she seemed more natural in a way. Her face was still pale, but no longer this unearthly shade nor did her features look like a statue of a Greek goodness. Not that she was now ugly of course, if not Keith found her even more beautiful. She looked real, not like something out of a dream. "My name is Cora, not Persy."
His stomach lurched at her words and Keith only saw one possibility to get out of this without any consequences for him. He got out of bed and grabbed his trousers that we're laying on the floor and put them hastily on. At this point he didn't even question how Hell had gotten him out of his clothes to begin with. If Keith had learned something it was that everything was possible and to trust no one.
"No no no you're not going to mess with me. I know what you're trying to achieve with this, but I'm not falling for that. Not now, I'm not going to fail these stupid tests."
"I don't understand..." she mumbled confused and sat up in the bed, but made no attempt to follow him. "We met yesterday in a bar and then I spend the night with you in your room. We drunk and so on. Nothing more and I'm surely not trying anything strange. I just hoped to repeat last night before I have to leave again."
"Do you think I'm stupid? You're a devil, Persetelphone or something and you visited me yesterday for my soul and then I had to do some stupid tests on the deadly sins!" Keith exclaimed desperately. Her version sounded good, but he couldn't fall for it or he wouldn't pass and after going through all theses troubles he surely wasn't going to screw up, when he was so close to fulfill his part of the deal.
"A devil? I'm a secretary and I really have no idea what you're talking about. Should I call someone? I don't think you feel well..."She said sounding more and more confused.
Keith laughed. "Oh no I'm perfectly fine, it's you who is messed up. No this whole situation is messed up! And I surely won't fall for this "this was all a dream" bullshit now. Why am I even talking to you? You're not helping and if you would, it would be some weird shit. Not a single one of you people can just reply with a simple name. No it has to be some long ass description like: I killed the czar and all his ministers or whatever. I think I should just leave."
Keith put on his shirt, but didn't bother with the buttons and simply left his room, if Persy or Cora really was temptation it was the best to get as far away from her as he could, even if her words didn't want to leave him. She had seemed honest enough and if he thought about it, it did sound plausible, that this trip had been only a drug induced hallucination or something similar. It would even be quiet relieving to know that it only had been a dream instead of a trip through Hell, but he doubted that the answer could be so simple and it had felt so real... Of course he couldn't be totally sure, there was no proof for both theories. Keith could only mistrust everything and watch out for any further traps until well until he could be sure it was all over whenever that was.
"Keith! Where are you running off to?" exclaimed a voice from behind him, making Keith stop in his tracks in the hotel hallway. He had been on his way to well nowhere in particular, just away from the beautiful woman inside his room. He turned around and just saw Bill leave a room, he supposed belonged to the older man. Keith sighed, so it was Bill's turn now, he thought and wondered what the always cool, calm and collected man would be.
"So what are you going to represent? Finally envy or one of the other two sins I still have no idea what they are?" he asked Bill sarcastically, who only looked really confused.
"What the hell are you on about now?" the bassist asked.
"Cut this crap! You know what I mean! So which sin are you?" Keith nearly yelled at his fellow band mate and aggressively pushed the button for the elevator. He wanted to get away from Persy that was not Persy and Bill or whoever the guy was. He wondered why he hadn't thought about this earlier. Just walking off and ignoring them sounded a lot more comfortable than staying and arguing.
Bill frowned even more. "Sin? What the fuck? Maybe you should lay back down and sleep this off Keith...whatever you're on can't be good. We still have a long drive ahead and we can't use this now. Have some more rest, whatever you're doing can surely wait," Bill tried to calm him down, but Keith was too far past this stage to listen to a word he said.
"Oh no I'm surely not going back in, to this temptress. I'm going to go on and get to the bottom off this! I'll finish this stupid tests and get my price, I worked hard for this! I did my time in Hell and I'm gonna find my way to heaven or whatever now. You can just fuck off too with your keep cool shit. Lay down, you wish. I'll carry on."
Without a further look at his band mate Keith entered the lift and hoped it would take him to wherever he needed to be to finally finish this business.
The doors closed behind him and Keith let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. Finally he had a minute of peace or at least he thought so.
"Hello, Keith."
