Chapter #2

Just as I got out of the toilet. Like literally one step from the door, a trio surrounded me. "The fuck you want?" I snapped, Jay's influence. The blonde girl picked me up with some kind of magic forcefield thingy and threw me into the lockers.

<Chanyeol's POV>

Crash! Cheering? What? I threw on Y/N's jacket and ran outside, only to be blocked by the three songbirds. Wondering the nickname? Even when they talk normally, its sounds like as if they are singing. The usual heartthrobs of the school, not saying we aren't. "Oppa!" Jinyu smiled at me till you can't even see her eyes, her fangs showing. How are they even pretty? Their attitudes and appearances is unappealing in many ways. "Move, Jinyu." I gave her a poker face. "But oppa! We want to show you a good drama that Baekya unnie have ongoing right now! Just for you!" Moonyeon pulled my arms as I followed, curious yet somewhat feeling defensive. "I said stay away from EXO! Do you NOT understand?!" I heard Baekya's high shrill voice even before I see her. My eyes widen as I broke Moonyeon's grip from my arm. "Now tell me, dear classmate, what did Channie say to you in the toilet? Hmm?"

Baekya was on top of Y/N, her hands wrapped around her neck, cutting her oxygen supply. Suddenly I felt anger burning through me, a need to protect Y/N from Baekya.

Dammit, Park Chanyeol! Snap out of it!

"Why the fuck must I tell you?" Y/N spat blood onto Baekya's face as she said through gritted teeth. Baekya growled as she tightened her grip on Y/N's neck. In this school, you're allowed to kill. I'm serious, I can just go up to a random person, shoot fire at him, turn him to ashes but still stay in this school. "I'm his girlfriend of course I have the right to know whether he's cheating on me." Do not ask me, I have no clue why I agreed to be her boyfriend. I'm still looking for a chance to break up with her. "Well I promised him my silence. I ain't saying shit, bitch." Y/N looked at me before locking her eyes onto Baekya. As if on cue, I was forced to kneel onto the floor, hands restrained.

"What the hell?!" I trashed but the restrains are too strong. "Once Baekya unnie cues, I can drink your blood! Isn't that awesome?" Jinyu whispered into my ear which made shivers travel down my spine. No, how is that good?! Baekya smirked at me before going back to Y/N. "I know everything about you L/N. Its either you die or he does." She hissed, her hand ready to cue Jinyu. I waited for the blow. "You know no shit, pansy." Y/N growled before the crowd cheered and roared. I dared looked up to watch. She threw Baekya onto the floor, staring deadly into her eyes. "Tell me Baekya, do you see my fear?" They had some kind of staring competition before the warning bell sounded. The bell only sounds when someone gets killed. All of us present at the scene watched with hitched breath. Y/N starts shaking her head as if to wake herself up as she stood up on wobbly legs. "Y/N!" Jaysher ran towards her and pulled her away. "Unnie!" Moonyeon cried as she ran towards her befell sister. "You watch out! You killed one of us, you deal with the consequences!" Jinyu snarled before baring her fangs.

Y/N let out a low growl before she realises the situation. "Chanyeol!" She broke her arms free from Jay and ran towards me. Before I could understand why she called me Jinyu sank her fangs deep into my blood vessels, sucking all my blood like some kind of smoothie. I slowly blacked out, hearing the sound of the warning bell twice.

I opened my eyes to bright light shining into them. Groaning, I sat up but got pushed down by Jay. "What the hell Jaysher?" She rolled her eyes at me before gesturing to the bed next to me. I bolted up immediately, not believing the sight. Y/N was hooked up to multiple monitors and doctors ran around, screaming instructions. "What...happened?" I grabbed Jaysher's hand roughly. "Long story cut short, your gang thought she's the vampire when Jinyu was the one who bit you. They almost tore her apart." I cut her off her babbling. "What are you trying to say?" "I'm saying that Y/N saved your phoenix's life, idiot. She put her life at risk! For you who she doesn't even know!" Jay's voice raised so much the doctors have to shush her. "My friends ripped her up? Well, they are good- Ow!" I snapped when Jay pinched my cheek. "Channie!" Baekhyun burst through the doors and literally hugged the life out of me. "Why is she doing here?" Baek pointed to y/N who is looking at us. "Your awake." I smiled.

<Y/N's POV>

"Channie!" I watched silently from my bed as Baekhyun ran through the doors and hugged Chanyeol. "Why is she doing here?" He pointed at me as Chanyeol smiled. "Your awake." "Chanyeol, do you know how worried we were?" Tao ran in, followed by the rest of EXO. Jay returned to my side, examining the lightning marks on my neck. "Miss L/N, you won't be able to use your voice temporary due to the huge amount of shock it got, it'll bleed with use." I nodded. "She's alive?!" Luhan pointed to me as Chen struck a lightning bolt right infront of me. "Hey!" Chanyeol held onto Chen's wrist so he's not able to cast any lightning. I rumbled my throat lowly, glaring at Chen before he tumbled backwards. Chen looked shocked before pouncing on me, his fingers tightening around my throat. "How did you do that?! Tell me!" "Kim Jongdae!" Xiumin dragged the tussling boy off me. "I have to know! Hyunggg!" Chen whined as Xiumin pulled him out of the room. "That was a heck of a drama..." Kris breathed out. I looked at Jay as she nodded. I set my gaze on Lay as he looked away fearfully. Jay spoke in my place since my vocals are hurt. "The doctors say that you can discharge Chanyeol later today. Y/N doesn't feel like seeing you guys." I flipped around on my hospital bed. "We don't feel like seeing her either!" Kyungsoo shouted before pulling someone along and slammed the door. The door opened and slammed close a few times as the other members and Jay left. "Boys..." The nurse looking after this ward sighed. "Y/N?" Chanyeol shook my shoulder but I fake my breathing as he sighed. "I'm so sorry... And... Thank you."
