Ugh. Morning time. I hate mornings, especially Monday mornings. Things never go my way on Monday mornings. Whatever. I get up and start to get dressed when I'm pushed onto my bed.
"What the fuck Vani! What's your problem?!" I scream.
"Where the hell were you last night? I saw you walk in and I thought I was dreaming! Please tell me I was dreaming." She replies.
"None of your business. Hop off!" I yell in a whisper. She had no reason to be interrogating me. "I was just out, okay?"
"Your just lucky I don't tell ma! She would freak out and you know it. Just don't sneak out again because if you would've gotten caught, what would you have done?" She said softly.
"I don't know but I didn't get caught so let's not talk about it, we have something called school to get ready for." I snapped. She turned away and started to change. I was very soar, and I know it wasn't from walking home.
"Go take a shower, you smell like bear and must. I'll spray so that stink doesn't stick." Vanessa said.
"Thanks for the warning sis, I'll be quick." I replied
"I don't care." she said in a funny tone. I take off my boxers and thermal and it hits me as if Miguel Coto had just uppercut me! I really did stink! I get in the shower and make the running water hot. I loved hot showers and maybe that could get this stench off of me. The water sooths the aching muscles in my back and legs and I wash the paint out of my hair, though I hardly remembered it was there because I couldn't even see it.
I realized I'd taken too long so I get out and get dressed just in time. As soon as I get my sweater on, my mom walks out, ready to go.
She looks at me and says, " You look like you got no sleep at all."
"I feel totally fine, it's just cause it's early but I'll look fine in a little bit." I reply with a convincing smile. My heart in my chest is pounding unevenly and terrible fast! I was terrified that she knew but she just shrugged her shoulders and continued toward the door. I was in the clear.
We get in the car and we drive off. Good way to start my Monday off, isn't it?
