Steven was slightly nervous. He was waiting on the couch for Garnet to finish her meditation in the Burning Room. He flipped his comic absentmindedly, not bothering to take in the brightly colored characters and writing splashed on the pages.
After a half hour, the Temple door opened and Garnet walked through, calm and thoughtful. Steven gulped as Garnet walked to the front door of the house and opened it.
"Wait!" Garnet turned. Steven licked his lips. "I- I want to ask you a question." Garnet said nothing, but walked to the couch and sat next to Steven.
"What is it?" Steven took a deep breath.
"I wanted to ask you about- about Fusion."
