"Come here Michael, get your things, we are leaving." Said John Paul.
"Ok dad, let me just get 5 minutes and I'll be down there, ok?" Replied Michael.
"Ok, but hurry up, the ride will be here any minute now." John Paul Came back.
Michael was in his room, looking around, starring at the empty space. He was looking at how so much has changed over the years. He was just a little boy when he remembered his first memory of the house. He was so attached to the house, he didn't want to leave, this was his home, and he didn't want anything happening to it, he never wanted to leave. He went to his window and peered through it, he saw his friend's James' house, he was so astonished of his house, of course Michael had the bigger house, but he adored how James' house looked.
Michael was so sad because he had to leave the house, all the friends he made and all the memories he had of the house. He heard the car pull up, it was his father's co-worker, Marie, she was a nice lady, but really irritating. John Paul was a single man, because his wife died during the birth of Michael. he was lucky to be born, he had nothing wrong with him, just very socially awkward, but john Paul saw that that was what made him unique. He heard Marie come up stairs, he quickly brushed off the dust, from the spinning of the fan.
"Hey bud, how's it going, I heard you guys are moving to a new house, can't wait huh?"
"No, I don't want to leave this house, this is my home, I don't like the new house we are moving to." Michael said slovenly, he was tearing up and about to cry.
Marie hugged him, she held him tight. John Paul walked up stairs to come check up on them. He saw them hugging, he quickly joined in and asked what happened.
"He's just feeling a little sad, that's all." Marie explained.
"Come on bud, you can tell me, what's wrong?" John Paul asked.
"I don't want to leave, I hate the new house." Michael said.
"But you don't even know anything about the house. I saw the house, it looks better than this one, it's way prettier, and has a lot of room to play in." John Paul replied.
"Ok, I'll go, but you promise the house is going to be better?" Michael asked.
"I promise." John Paul said back.
They both grabbed their luggage and walked it to Marie's car. he looked at the house, just to get one more glimpse at it before he left. He knew that once he left, the house was gone forever. He missed the house so much, even though he was still on the porch. They all got in the car and left the house. he had a long drive ahead of them. they live in North Carolina, and their moving to Florida. He heard so much good things about Florida, but it's just really hot out. He's moving to Pasco, a nice neighborhood over there.
It took them forever to get there, but they got there. He looked out the window trying to find the house, he saw a lot of nice houses, but none of which suited his wants, and suited the promises that his father kept. He was getting tired from the ride. he decided to take a little nap.
"Michael wake up, we are here. Look at our new house." John Paul said.
Michael woke up and saw the new house, it was...
