At This Moment

Prologue

In the 21st century, the entertainment industry has evolved to great standards than years back in the 1980s. People started watching drama's, television programs and engaged themselves in published materials even more than before. Standards of Actors and Actresses have increased and even the way stories are being written and filmed are different than ever before. This has brought the entertainment industry to a whole new level and its is now one of the biggest business industry in the world.

It is also because of this that many people have started taking advantage of the media world. The media have become so powerful that it is a power not like other. Stories such as Murders, rape, kidnappings, burglary, money embezzlement, and even presidential election started to appear on the television news and printed news. Stories that shook the world. It has evolved into such powerful being that anyone at any place can be affected and influenced by it. Some may think that it is a gift. But to me, it is nothing but a deadly power.

Despite what I've said, I sound like someone who despises the media world right? Well, it may come as a surprise to you, but I work in this very industry. Now don't get me wrong, I ain't a masochist. I love showing my works out to the public and when someone praises my work, I would be very pleased. However, things have been happening recently and I've started to find the media scary. It's hurting the ones I love. Creating a nightmare for the people that I cherish. It's taking control of my life. It's like a demon that keeps coming back for me.

On days, I wished that time would rewind, rewind back to the day where I have never met one of the greatest writers in all of Japan. If I never met him, this would never have happened. I would never be here. I won't have to watch the people I love suffer due to my job. In fact, they wouldn't even have met me and they'd still be safe. This wouldn't have happened. But nothing can turn back time now and at this moment... I have to be the one to protect them. My name is Teshima Saeki and this is my story.
