Garroth's POV

A  F E W  H O U R S  L A T E R . . .

"Garroth...." Laurance whines, "Garroth!" He repeats.

I pause the Netflix show I was watching, "What?" I ask.

"Come here." He commands.

"What do you need?" I question. I hear him mumble something, but I can't make out the words, "What was that?" I question.

"I don't feel well..." Laurance complains.

I push myself off the couch and lazily make my way over to his room. I open the door to see Laurance, him not looking like.. Well, let's just say he doesn't look like his usual self. Purple bags ring around Laurance's eyes and his skin is deathly pale.

Laurance's lips are chapped and his hair is messy, "Wow, you look disgusting." I state.

Laurance rolls his eyes, "You really know how to make a guy feel special." Laurance says.

I chuckle, "I know. I'm a profession feeler-betterer. I am a doctor." I reply. Laurance gives me a 'I-Know-Stop-Bragging' look, "All kidding aside, what's wrong?" I ask in a serious tone.

"Oh, nothing..." Laurance's voice rolls, "Just the fact that my head feels like it got hit by a train... Other than that, I'm fine!" Laurance exclaims sarcastically.

I chuckle, "That's something that I like to call a hangover." I state.

Laurance groans, "Ughh... I hate those." Laurance complains.

"Too bad, too sad." I smirk. Laurance gives me a 'Really?' look, "Yes, really." I add onto Laurance's expression.

Laurance rolls his eyes, "Enough chit-chat. Can you get me some painkillers?" Laurance asks.

I nod, "Sure." I start to walk out, but look behind me and stop before leaving, "Don't get too wild while I'm gone." I say.

"I won't get wild unless I'm with you." Laurance smirks flirtatiously.

An involuntary blush paints itself onto my cheeks, "S-Shut up and take it easy." I then walk out, trying to avoid any more of that awkward conversation. Or, awkward for me, at least.

I grab the medicine of Laurance's request, then walk back into the room, "You took a million years!" Laurance yells in a childish voice.

When Laurance doesn't feel well, he gets anxious and impatient, "Then you would be an old man." A small grin makes it's way to my face.

"Hey! Don't call me Travis!" Laurance snaps playfully.

"You don't have white hair yet." I give him some medicine, "If I had white hair, I wouldn't have ladies swooning over me at shows." Laurance says.

That statement forms a lump in my throat and questions cloud my thoughts. I shake those away quickly and snap back into reality.

"Are you alright? You seem a tad out of it." Laurance asks.

I nod, "I-I'm fine! Thanks." I reply quickly. Laurance gives me a suspicious look, then goes back to taking his medicine.

"LAAAAUURRRAANCEEEE!!!" Cadenza bellows.

I jump at the sound of her voice. "Could be a little less loud." I put a finger up to my ringing ear,

"Sorry, Garroth! I didn't see you there." She pauses, "But if you wanna be in the Zvhal house, you gotta be able to handle the Zvhal screech." Cadenza playfully sashays away. I roll my eyes and continue to scroll through Netflix, "Laurance! Are you on another hangover again? You look awful!" Cadenza exclaims.

"Psh, nawwww." Laurance replies.

"You little liar!" Cadenza pauses, "Liar, liar, pants on fire!" She teases.

"Like your hair?" Laurance questions.

"Shut up!" Cadenza commands. I don't hear Laurance's response. I roll my eyes. Why did I ever leave these guys?
